Hilarious 16:34 - Dec 21 with 1560 views | Fireboy2 | The people that think that our recent bad form is totally down to the manager. Obviously it's nothing to do with the p!ss weak squad he has at his disposal. We only have 4 players injured, the bench only has 2 attacking to replace likewise and people think that we should be doing better in a league that is probably the most competitive in european football? Williams has done very well with this squad, it is now that certain players are showing fatigue, it's the reason we have hit a slump, it doesn't help when he's been told to play a certain loan player for the full 90 in a position he should even be playing. Every club especially the top 8 has a bigger squad than ours, they all have injury problems, most are probably worse than ours but they have bigger squads so they can get through these problems Our current problems are all down to the previous shysters who streamlined our squad in the summer. It will take at least 2 windows to sort the mess out, I'm hoping that we will get these 3 players plus the 4 back from injury then we can actually play to how williams wants us to play. But I've heard on the grapevine that our new owners are starting to get p!ssed ofc which to me is a good sign as they (unlike the previous lot) will actually do something about the squad.
Hilarious on 16:48 - Dec 21 with 1021 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Swansea have spent big money on potential remember?. The money was provided by people you call "shysters". Kukharevych, Patersen, Vipotnik, Eom, Njoe an On, Franco, Ronald, Key, Tymon. Williams needs to make changes and be braver. Swansea went head to head with Leeds but do not perform today.

And the worst squad we have had since we got relegated. Alot of people don't realise that. I'd recommend watching highlights of games from previous years up until last season, they are an eye opener.

Im chucking him some blame today, because there was hardly any intensity or motivation all game, he’s got to be held accountable for that. But you’re 100% right. The crux of the problem is the state of the squad. We’ve got a decent starting eleven (bar striking options) and three or four good options from the bench. Beyond that, we’re in a hell of a mess. Todays bench - Ronald and Franco who would both normally start… Bianchini Christie Abbey Abdulai McLaughlin Naughton Tjoe-A-On We’ve been in managed decline for years, hopefully the new owners can do something about it. I think you’re right, it’s not a January job, going to take a few transfer windows to sort it out.

We’ve clearly signed mediocre players nd have a bad player on loan who looks like he has to play . Agreed ,it’s going to take a few windows. We need to stay up, It won’t be easy We have to be pragmatic We were not today Ospreys Turks on now so…best wishes etc .. That’s it from me

How many of those players did Williams actually say he wanted and signed because of him? Any ? You can coach a few league 1 players into Top 6 championship players, but most of our squad will never be top 6 players. They are not good enough. I have said all season that both full backs are atrocious. I am being proven right.

I like our keeper however seeing him be ridiculed by non swans fans for the errors today was hard to defend. We create our own problems. I hope everyone in the coaching staff can try and resolve that because talent wise we are better than what we are showing

We’ve got no depth at all. Williams needs a bit of leeway there. We had maybe 6 or 7 players in the squad today who either aren’t good enough, are too raw, or are well past their best. I don’t think anyone can sensibly argue he’s on a level playing field. He still has to take his share of the blame when half the team look like they don’t want to be there and for not changing tactics/formation when we need to.

I don't think we are better than what we're showing. I agree with FB, the squad is too weak and with fatigue setting in even good players are making stupid mistakes. This time of the year games come thick and fast and with a paper thin squad we could never hope to be at our best, we have 3 more games in 10 days, they will be hard. It doesn't help when the player many seem to consider our best, GRIMES, is making atrocious passes on the edge of our box. We have to be more pragmatic. Being a possession heavy team is fine when things are going well but siometimes you have to hit row Z and start again. I won't change my mind about that, I've seen far too many soft goals given away and today Hull had several decent chances because of our own mistakes. It won't be sorted in January, I agree. I'm not sure if it will be sorted in 3 windows either. We are looking at a full rebuild, that is the damage Levein and Kaplan did. [Post edited 21 Dec 18:06]

He could deploy appropriate tactics and infuse some passion. That is separate from ability Tiday, there was no passion, not even a sniff of professional pride . That was Hull City, not exactly free of issues themselves No excuses at all No goalkeeper should stand on a football literally then hoof it into touch ,three times in a row . That is coaching and control No captain should dwell on the ball when surrounded by opponents merely 20 yards out Unforgivable and easily remedied These players can play better . We have seen them do so . They chooose when they want to play Today, they insulted personally every fan who travelled there They should be ashamed? They won’t be

Like most things in football, it’s not black and white. Of course Williams needs to take blame for today. The players looked like they weren’t up for it. He’s got to motivate them. There are other issues like sticking to the same tactics no matter what and what appear to be pre-determined substitutions. Grimes was one of the few that put the effort in today, but he just looks shot. Two of his worst games for us in a row. We really should leave him out of the early season league cup games, just up see how we’d play without him. Williams will probably be scared to do that now, but he looks like he could do with a rest. The majority of the blame IMO rests with the previous ownership. Whatever people think about individual players or the manager, the squad is way too thin. A few of us have been saying it for a long time, it’s starting to become really apparent. Finally, on Luke Williams - attracting managers is like attracting players. If we’ve got a weak squad, disinterested owners and a low budget, we aren’t going to get the cream of the crop. They wanted Chris Davies. Expecting him to do a better job than experienced, higher paid, in demand managers in the division is like expecting a deadline day signing nobody else wanted to compete with the best players in the division. All in all, I think he’s doing a better job than I expected.
