Colwill has been messed around by Matt Jones and Bellamy and missed the last four rounds of Wales u21 games having put them top of the table.
He has dropped out of the away Slovakia match with "illness". The FAW could not even do the paperwork to allow him to play.

Good in parts, but reminded me of the Swans in some ways. The national team lacked a goalscorer upfront, and were always going to need a mistake or a pen to get on the scoresheet. Held on well, and the Swansea lads all did okay. Some of those who couldn't play will give us a bit more as an attacking force. but the squad is thin in some positions. Pity about the late Turkish goal in the other group game. | | | |

That's what happens when players are trying too hard they just don't see all the options,Cullen had the pull back straight into his oncoming stride for a shot but think it was Wilson cut across him blocking a shooting opportunity as he took possession of the ball stupid.

The forward player needs more composure and better technique on breakaways. The object is to fan out not converge. Michu was brilliant at this.

Cabango has lost a little weight seems a little more nimble lately meaning he doesn't get the ball stuck between his feet as often and gets the pass away quicker and cleaner, he has managed to get a head of steam up at times covering down the line well on the right, but as a big man he is always going to struggle with quick footed speedy players turning him but his recovery challenges seem to be quicker in reaction time than they were, a little more experienced?

Just back from the game, not seen any highlights etc but agree with a lot of whatβs been said here. Thought a weakened Wales team played well in the first half, took the game by the scruff and were very much on top. Second half was like ground hog day in Reykjavik last week, Montenegro had us on the back foot and could have scored. Overall we were the better team and deserved the 3 points, but it could have been different.
At times Wales wanted to pass the ball in to the net when a bit more urgency and a shot could be a better option. Thought the Swans contingent (current and former) gave a good account of themselves, special mention in dispatches for Cabango and especially Josh Sheehan. A decent crowd of 27,600 which is pretty respectable for a Monday night.
We need to work on our goal threat because we could easily have beaten TΓΌrkiye if we had a bit more firepower up front. Bellamy has work to do, but I feel heβs moving in the right direction. | | | |

I can see the thread on Joe Allen has been locked, I was just going to add his presence brings a lot to the squad, he did really well tonight after he came on. Steadied the ship and gave the players around him confidence. Without doubt an asset to the team. |

But it was noticeable that Allen and especially Cullen looked better last night than they do for the Swans. Appreciate Cullen was playing deeper, but they both seem better in a team playing with more freedom and maybe less pre orchestrated training ground moves.
