Blackburn going into that run in on the back of a five goal dicking is looking uncomfortable for them… On the other hand who bloody knows. Might as well toss a coin it’s impossible to predict

Tonight's Championship games on 21:54 - Apr 10 by Northernr | All the chat they gave it about how different it is this time and how brilliant their recruitment was. Dark horse for the play offs. If they go down I might piss my pants so much there's a risk I'll drown myself. With Laird, Roberts and Dozzell as well. Stop it. |
Been saying for months they’d be my number two choice for the drop after Millwall However they have some very kind fixtures coming up
| Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal |

FFS WBA have had some luck this season. Our handball off the line, then another couple of handballs in the box not spotted from the same player. And then that ridiculous penalty decision. Does their manager invite the ref for wine after the match?

Tonight's Championship games on 22:26 - Apr 10 with 2991 views | qprxtc | My brain keeps saying one more win will see is safe. But my brain is thick as sh1t. My gut tells me it’s going to go wonky. But my gut is full of sh1t. It’s all sh1t. Can we get away from it? 💩
Tonight's Championship games on 22:27 - Apr 10 with 2981 views | Ned_Kennedys | Another win and we will surely be safe otherwise we are relying on others not to catch us. Good results tonight but we can’t expect that to continue I think. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Tonight's Championship games on 22:15 - Apr 10 by nix | You'd think Blackburn's run-in was horrendous, except the top three have forgotten how to win as well. |
Blackburn were rank tonight. City played well, but Blackburn were absolute pony. This division is mad and brilliant - bar about six teams in midtable and Rotherham, everyone still has something to play for.

Tonight's Championship games on 21:57 - Apr 10 by qprxtc | Is there some computer or egghead genius that can work out that given quite a few teams below us have to play each other, how many points do we need to be safe? Are we safe now? Is it safe. Dustin, why don’t you just try acting. Pass the salts. |
Bookies have us 16/1 to go down now and they would have done the numbers.

Birmingham very lucky to still have to play Rotherham . They have jacked it in which is understandable.
Tonight's Championship games on 22:42 - Apr 10 with 2716 views | OakR | Good that Birmingham and Huddersfield have to play each other. Hard to predict, good we have lots of teams below us. 1 win and we should be ok I think, or 3 draws. They do like to put us through it!

Tonight's Championship games on 22:44 - Apr 10 with 2694 views | Hunterhoop | Great night for us. I see Stroud has been making friends again. Stoke are going to influence things heavily with those two games against Wednesday and Plymouth. Equally that Wednesday Blackburn game is huge. Blackburn could conceivably pick up no more points. Blackburn and Birmingham going down would be hilarious. As would Stoke, tbh.
Tonight's Championship games on 22:44 - Apr 10 with 2687 views | ManinBlack | Looking at the run in it appears Millwall have the best fixtures with three games against teams with nothing to play for. Sheffield Wednesday could survive with a final day game at Sunderland particularly if Sunderland play like they did against us. No wonder West Brom are 10 unbeaten looking at another joke decision in their favour. I am fairly envious seeing teams like Swansea win 3-0 and Bristol City 5-0 against our relegation rivals. If only we could have done that in our relegation 6 pointers. Other teams can cruise through games unlike us. I read somewhere that Plymouth hadn't scored at home for 550 minutes so no surprise we handed them a goal to end the run. We can always be counted on to help other teams first before helping ourselves.

"position average" is a red herring. All the teams beneath us have at least one game against another side beneath us. Obviously they can't both lose that game, but neither can they both win. I think 50 points will be enough to stay up. I can't see shot-shy Birmingham getting that many. And Blackburn will need to find some form from somewhere given their tough run-in.
Tonight's Championship games on 23:14 - Apr 10 with 2376 views | bob566 | Think we'll be fine. Goal difference could be key. Keep it tight and don't ship loads like other teams below us tonight did
Tonight's Championship games on 23:19 - Apr 10 with 2340 views | CamberleyR | From our point of view, bar Millwall, a very good set of results the last couple of nights. Without Flappy McFlapovic throwing one in last night we'd consider ourselves all but safe now. A couple more draws or one more win should definitely do it.

That's very generous But we should be OK. I would price us around 6 / 1 myself How would anyone feel if they put a tidy sum on us to go down at 16s. 50 smackers gets you brucie bonus 850 big ones back including stake money !!!! Insurance policy to compensate for the doom of demotion. [Post edited 10 Apr 23:33]

A few seasons ago I got on us at 150/1 as were were in terrible form but at the time still well clear. I stood to win around 9k if it happened. We kept falling closer to the drop zone but eventually pulled out a couple of results to avoid it. [Post edited 10 Apr 23:42]

True, win last night and I think we'd be safe. Hull are now not pulling up trees and realistically won't make the play offs so we really have to go there with the mindset to get something. We are better set up to play away so I'm hopeful.
