Question to those who may know but why does the ref prevent a player from going offside by putting his arm out as a physical barrier, if said player chooses to infringe then that's his choice ?

England v Wales ... 6 Nations on 18:43 - Feb 10 with 803 views | theloneranger | Massive difference in the benches. With such an inexperienced squad - these last 2 matches have been massive learning curves - but a 1 point last week and 2 points today - I'll settle for that. 👍

Wales did better than I expected. Certainly a lot that can be worked with. Thought Wainwright and Reffell were immense. Must go on The Lions tour. I’m really not a fan of this deliberate knock yellow card on when clearly it’s not deliberate. It’s an automatic reaction. A scrum should suffice. If it can be deemed deliberate and stops a try then that’s different.

Dyer taken out in the air which caused him to land in touch near the end not given was disgusting, ref missed at least 3 forward passes which were as clear as daylight, Genge turning his head into Griffin our Tighthead at that scrum wasn't picked up either. I'd argue that Chessum's yellow should have been red, he clearly went in with the shoulder there was no attempt by him to wrap his arms around Assiratti.

Reffell was immense today, one of the best in this years 6 nations if not the best, Dyer was excellent, Tomas Williams was a top performer last week, but wasn't so effective today mostly because our scrum was overpowered.

We’re not very streetwise Ste and Jenkins is very naive for a captain. A game ,another one,we blew Disappointing as there are signs of progress. Lloyd is ropey but we have little choice Wainwright should be captain IMO Adams is a liability Grady just isn’t up to it

We're a very inexperienced international team at the moment, we'll learn and get much better, England's line speed looked very quick, but if you watch it again they were offside regularly, not even the All blacks or the Safies are that quick.

We kicked far to much ball away, from the first whistle, Williams's Gary Owen near the end was a terrible option the ball should have gone long, in all probability despite Steward covering that area. At the end we lost by just 2 pts. I'll take that at this stage with our inexperienced squad. [Post edited 10 Feb 20:59]
