England v Wales ... 6 Nations on 20:43 - Feb 10 by max936 | We kicked far to much ball away, from the first whistle, Williams's Gary Owen near the end was a terrible option the ball should have gone long, in all probability despite Steward covering that area. At the end we lost by just 2 pts. I'll take that at this stage with our inexperienced squad. [Post edited 10 Feb 20:59]

2 inexperienced teams. England only had about 100 caps more than us. It will be 4th or 5th out of 6. Don’t understand the constant kicking to the opposition. So damn boring. Time to introduce another 6 countries. Have 2 divisions, two up, two down. Bring some excitement into it.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

England v Wales ... 6 Nations on 18:35 - Feb 10 by Boundy | Question to those who may know but why does the ref prevent a player from going offside by putting his arm out as a physical barrier, if said player chooses to infringe then that's his choice ? |
Because its difficult to know where the offside line his in the heat of the battle, especially at the rucks. If they still infringe after the warning/advice then the Ref usually does give the offside.

We didn't kick so much ball against Scotland last week, not in the second half anyway, we played really open and passed the ball across the park and hit the gaps regularly, mainly because Scotland stood off us. This week England were up in our faces and lived offside regularly in my opinion, so that caused us to kick far to much and without thinking about where the ball was going to land.

England v Wales ... 6 Nations on 20:39 - Feb 10 by max936 | We're a very inexperienced international team at the moment, we'll learn and get much better, England's line speed looked very quick, but if you watch it again they were offside regularly, not even the All blacks or the Safies are that quick. |
They were frequently offside and up very quickly, Ireland and France will have seen how our tactic worked and will be prepared. [Post edited 10 Feb 21:35]

Cheers for the answer but it was a ruck at the time and the ref clearly knew the English player would have infringed if he hadn't warned him and placed his arm across to indicate where the line was should he choose to cross it

That's my point he told him no and then i9f he infringes its a pen and quite possibly a yellow. moreso if he's give a pen away previously in the same game.
