Perhaps there were frictions between Watson and Duff over transfers. Nanthan Tjoe has not had a kick. Has there been a bust up with Pederson?
We saw similar frictions perghaps with Martin and Marc Allen who was 'Head of football operations' . Burns, Rhys Williams, Ntcham and Ogbeta came and only Ntcham progressed. Ogbeta is still looking for a chance. That one ended up with Allen getting his cards not Martin. One would have thought the reverse would have happened.
Watson might have more clout and he may have made the recommendation having failed to forge a tight working relationship. These guys need to manage up as well as down. The Fletcher issue might also be a live one. Down playing big prospects does not enthuse the fan base. The club has too many honest pros on too big money. |  |

Sometimes people read too much into things. The fans could see Duff was no good and voted with their feet, Coleman has reacted and is now trying to appease the supporters. | | | |
