Injuries. 09:28 - Mar 5 with 6782 views | PunteR | Is our long term injury list total BS or are we just very unlucky. ? I nearly posted in the Conspiracy theory thread about this. What is really going on? Chair Willock Paal Laird Amos Balagun (yeh right) Dykes Clarke Salter. Roberts Anyone else I've missed ? To have both Paal and Laird out who were instrumental in our high flying days under Beale just seems to me that there's a lot of BS going and I can't for the life of me think why players refuse to play under a different manager.. Balagun is blatantly obvious he's a Beale Bitch. The Willock one is interesting , is this guy seriously hampered or is he holding out to get a move in the summer. ? Chair is definitely legit. Amos is ..Well Amos so naturally he's injured. But the rest .. hmm I'm not so sure.

Injuries. on 09:43 - Mar 5 with 4808 views | gazza1 | FYI.....I understand that Balagun has broken a bone in his foot - not a nice injury when you are a footballer and no 'rushing back' an injury of that nature!!!! I am sure that the doctors and physio people have reviewed the injuries, and do so on a regular basis, and if they believe that they are 'faking it' the Club would deal accordingly.....we have been very unlucky indeed as far as I am concerned but we certainly do have injury prone players.

Thanks for letting me know about Balagun. How long has he been out for though. For a broken bone it's 6 weeks isn't it? Clearly not rushing back then.

Injuries. on 09:55 - Mar 5 with 4783 views | distortR | Every club has injuries, but a scutch of those we signed in the summer are known to be injury-prone - JCs, Richards, Balogun, Roberts - and have been added to a squad with the likes of Amos and Willock in it. And this is exacerbated by not enough kids coming through the ranks. So not bad luck for me, but symptoms of the clubs problems.

He went off injured against Huddersfield four months ago. I'd say as a layman that is long enough for recovery and rehab unless the injury wasn't picked up straight away but this seems unlikely as he surely would have had a scan.

Agree. Chair and Dykes genuine, Amos as is said just very unlucky, Willock giving the benefit of the doubt to as he genuinely was injured and was rushed back. The others as far as I'm concerned can get in the fcking bin.

I think that is rubbish. I get that if he has a genuine injury (which I seriously doubt), he won't be near the training pitch, but can someone explain to me why he was not seen in the Team Building event this week (the Haka). Its a helluva injury if it stopped him mucking in with hie "teammates" to build team spirit. For whatever reason (and I hope and pray it is not to save money as he had a deal by which he gets more money if he plays), he is completely out of the picture, so I do not buy the broken foot theory. Even Critchley said that the specialist had seen him, couldn't find anything and cleared him for a return to training. We are being seriously lied to around that charlatan.

Injuries. on 11:35 - Mar 5 with 4528 views | RangersDave | Why dont we simply cut some of the deadwood now? If its that obvious they are malingerers, then get rid, pay off (we would be paying 1 or 2 off to go anyway) and remove the cancerous carbuncles that are some of the players. Maybe put them on gardening leave so they can sit there doing feck all for the rest of the limited season. While some stay, its possible the infection will grow and transfer to others. Get rid.

You can think what you like Dave but I have been reliably informed that he has a broken bone in his foot....just passing info on, simple as that, but I have no reason to believe that I was being lied to - the person has no reason to not tell the truth. As for why he was not doing the haka, perhaps he had a hospital appointment about his broken foot, I don't know. I also believe that the other injuries that we have are genuine......you and other posters can, also, think what you want.

It seems a long time, agreed, but I do not know how bad the injury is.........if the Club doctors or consultants give their valued judgement and think he is fit then he will be questioned why he is saying that he cannot be selected.....he just cannot say 'I'm not playing'!!! and the Club then say 'OK'!!!!
Injuries. on 13:19 - Mar 5 with 4261 views | Northernr | Every player that came here in Beale's transfer window is now out bar Tim who we're financially obligated to pick - Richards just about crawling back in. I'm sorry, I just don't believe in coincidences. Jake Clarke-Salter and Leon Balogun we were told in both cases had "calf issues". Unless the issue is the calf is hanging off the bone, wtf is going on there? Tyler Roberts walked off against Hull, four weeks ago Critchley said he "didn't feel quite ready for tomorrow, but hopefully next week" and a month later still no sign. The body language of them all, the performances since daddy left them, the amount of time they've spent on the pitch since he left... it stinks, I'm sorry it stinks.

I think I saw some calf issues on Countryfile the other week. Very messy business. Quite slimy, as I recall. Needed two strong men, a rope and some huge rubber gloves. Mind you, that might have been Pornhub. I'll get back to you.

Injuries. on 14:21 - Mar 5 with 4103 views | bosh67 | The biggest problem is how many games players brought in have actually played this season and how many some of our better players have played. 35 games played remember... Willock 23 (missed 12) Paal 23 (missed 12) Laird 24 (missed 11) Amos 12 (missed 23) Balogun 9 (missed 26) Richards 11 (missed 24) Dykes 23 (missed 12) Clarke Salter 11 (missed 24) Roberts 14 (missed 21) Johansen 24 (missed 11) When you think 5 of the 10 listed lave missed nearly a third of the season and the others have basically missed two thirds it's not rocket science to see why Critchley and now Gareth struggle to get a team capable of winning onto a pitch. What's shocking is how much those 4 loan players have missed.

This is the downside of the clubs philosophy of signing players who are (theoretically) very good players but have injury concerns which make them affordable to us because it scares other clubs off. I don't hate that strategy and sometimes it works great, like Sam Field, sometimes less, like Amos. BUT, if you're going to take that approach, at some point like now the chickens come home to roost with all those injury prone players, shockingly, injured, and you need to have a decent amount of squad depth. That's where we've failed for me. This doesn't apply to or excuse the players who have clearly downed tools.

No beef from me, gazza - content that you are only passing on what you have heard. Too much of a coincidence that all of the players bar Willock and Amos are all Beale's buddies and all seem to be innocuous reeking of "I didn't come here for this". Hopefully, they are genuine and, as GA says, hoping that the cavalry is coming, but then you know what hope does to you here...

I hate it. It's not a viable strategy, it's simply plain stupidity.
Injuries. on 19:23 - Mar 5 with 3734 views | Benny_the_Ball | Chair and Willock are simply overloaded and their injuries were inevitable. Paal is actually ours and has featured in a decent quota of games so I think his injury is genuine. Dykes catching pneumonia is just so QPR that you just have to laugh. I'm just glad that he's ok and more upset at the club for not developing a single player to provide cover. Amos and Glass Salter came to us with a reputation for being injury prone and have sadly lived up to this reputation. The club needs to move away from the "strategy" of signing sicknotes in the vain hope that our medical team can refresh the parts that other clubs cannot reach. Roberts came with a reputation for phoning it in so QPR only have themselves to blame for taking the bait. It's high time QPR take note of the hysterical laughter from source club supporters whenever we're linked with such players. JoJo is beginning to look very much his age and can't be expected to single-handedly hold a midfield together for an entire season. Balogun and (to a lesser degree) Laird are sulking now that Mummy Beale has removed his third nipple from their mouths. [Post edited 5 Mar 2023 19:27]

So Norf, what you are basically saying is that they are all feigning injury and they are all not bothering to play because their 'daddy' has left and they are all basically unhappy and on strike. Well, I do not believe that is true and if it was then there would be a rebellion with the other players that are representing the club and senior members of the Club would not be accepting that type of behaviour.....it just is not right what is being suggested. It doesn't happen, they cannot all be feigning injury. And, if you and other posters think they are feigning injury which is not and cannot be right, then the Club would invoke disciplinary action.
