Morons on 01:06 - Feb 7 by D_Alien | I take it for what it is, an adjunct to supporting Dale There's nothing - absolutely nothing - to be gained from the actions of those morons invading the pitch. All it might do is increase costs to the club in stewarding in future. Why on earth are you defending that? Do you actually have an answer or not? In a way, your defending them is worse because you have some pretence to adult credibility, whereas those kids will likely grow out of it [Post edited 7 Feb 2018 1:07]

I said it was poxy and tinpot. But lets have it right a few kids have jumped on the pitch and a steward might of got slapped about a bit its not as though Rochdale AFC have a huge hooligan following. Its an exception rather then a rule. Most of the time Dale fans are quiet.
Morons on 01:18 - Feb 7 with 3019 views | JimmyRustler | It's not even the fact that the pitch was invaded; it's the fact that the wannabe U16s went over to the Millwall fans and goaded them even though the large majority would shite their pants at any sign of real trouble. It's all well and good celebrating your own success but that was OTT and embarrassing.

It's not poxy and tinpot, it's a threat of injury to people attending a football match, or seeking to ensure the safety of others; and it's a cost to the club, both financially and in terms of reputation That type of behaviour led to cages being erected in football grounds in the 1970s, which ultimately led to the Hillborough tragedy because fans couldn't escape a crush If that's what you want to see happening again, go right ahead, but don't try to pretend it isn't embarrassing. It's far worse than that

All that work put in getting the game on, and it's spoiled by a bunch of idiots. Just kids, just banter, my arse.

It's completely tinpot! I'm sure all media outlets will appreciate the fact that it's not all Dale fans and not focus on it either, they're all sensible like that... Rochdale gets enough bad press as it is, why give people fuel for the fire by doing something pathetic?
Morons on 07:17 - Feb 7 with 2781 views | dalenumber2 | A large amount of the pitch invaders were grown men and the worst thing was that some were throwing missiles at the Millwall fans. It was embarrassing and extremely disappointing. Our players should have been able to celebrate on the pitch for a few minutes and the Millwall players should have been able to go over to thank their fans, who made a tough journey up here yesterday. Same on Manc radio - obviously they focused on Dale winning but at the end they had the interview with Harris calling our fans a disgrace. Also at the end of the BBC highlights when it shows the pitch invasion all you can really focus on is the morons running over to the away end goading the Millwall fans. Embarrassing.

Why anyone would think a steward getting punched was ok is a mystery, but should we play millwall again at the den, I think we can safely assume Dale fans will be attacked

Morons on 00:11 - Feb 7 by KenBoon | Video showing the 'fan' swinging punches at a steward It's totally unprovoked. It's an absolute disgrace. Edit: looking at the video it doesn't look like a kid. The man gets on the pitch, ignores the steward who makes a weak attempt to usher him off and swings punches at the other steward. [Post edited 7 Feb 2018 0:18]

Three points 1.Who ever this was ?Pretty embaressing really throwing punches at some poor Kid/Steward bloke/Middle aged man just earning £20 on a freezing cold night. 2.As much as Morison can be a bit of a goon on the pitch,i thought it was a fair effort stepping in to try to stop the potential boil over. 3.Lets face it if the stewards and few police saved the Dale teeny boppers bacon,They would have seriously got eaten alive #lMEN&littleboys All in all a great night. They were a disgrace to the club last night and every one of them should hang there head in shame..... even that fooker Mildred was on the pitch ..... ban that fooker for a start. We just don't need this at Spotland and whilst Pot kettles and black... Harris was actually spot on. I just hope the club has some CCTV and either refuses the offenders tickets for the 5th round - Even better take their cash and then Hoy them out of the crowd and out of the ground 15 minutes before kick off. 1st grade tossers the lot of them. Millwall get so much shit about their fans/hooligans I bet Harris can't wait for incidents like last night to happen, so he can say "it's not just us"! I wanted to celebrate at the final whistle last night with all the Dale players coming over together in front of the Pearl St stand so we could cheer them off - instead we just end up booing a bunch of morons.

YES they could and they should.... get extra security in for the 5th round and get them out of the stadium 15 minutes before kick off. I urge the club to do this using whatever means necessary. Mildred is one.... there you go.... ban that fooker with immediate effect.

Morons on 22:26 - Feb 6 by judd | It was disappointing that the pleas over the tannoy before FT were completely ignored. You could see the looks of dismay on the faces of the ground staff who were about to go to work again. Steve Morrison had to be escorted off by a steward whilst he continued to remonstrate with a pea brain who'd obviously riled him. Mighty fine player deserves a bit more respect in my opinion. |
Morrison is a full on cock so I dont care about him but it was bloody embarassing to watch the morons enter the playing field , what were they thinking, then goading Millw**k fans for what reason! A disgrace to the club.
Morons on 09:30 - Feb 7 with 2385 views | KenBoon | I was talking with some of the drummer boiz who were great during the match. I was told most of them didn't go on the pitch and those that did - who that person knew - we're running to the 'Dale players and generally being tinpot. It's still wrong, but in the grand scheme of things not worthy of further punishment other than a telling off and final warning. As for the folk who tried to cause trouble with their fans, the ones who allegedly abused their players and the scumbag who was throwing punches at someone trying to do their job, they shouldn't ever be welcome back and the latter should be in the dock for assault. It wouldn't surprise me if many of those weren't regulars. They saw Millwall and cheaper ticket prices and decided to come.

Yes because MillWa"k pick off scafers , dont turn up at West Ham , unless surrounded by the police. Remember them bottling it against Pompey years ago and eventually ganging up and beating one solitary guy on his way back to his car. I have sympathy for the hardy 300 who travelled up because they were decent fans and supported their club despite a terrible performance by their team . They did not deserve to be goaded or have missiles thrown at them. Will our hoolies be in prominence in the future? Or scurrying away like they normally do.

"terrible performance by their team" For f*cks sake PG, we bloody well outplayed them, but we all know you haven't got it within you to give the Dale any credit A different type of moron

Why on earth would anyone want to remember nonsense like that ? Bottling what ? I prefer to remember the various games and let the thugs and morons swirl about in their own cesspit of memories. There will always be a few..... Dale beat Millwall. That matters far more. Some soon forgotten morons ran onto the pitch. Some won't even know who the Dale players were.
