| Forum Thread | Big Fred? at 09:59 18 Jan 2015
Any one know what happened to Fred Pickering? He was one of Pools better center forwards from the late 60`s into the early 70`s, I remember he was transferred, but don`t recall where he went, any one know what became of him? |

Yes, I agree, all winnable games, but all those teams except Rotherham have just changed managers, so will be playing better. Birmingham got Rowett will he get them playing? |

MyMoney, I`ve been watching the Mighty Pool since the sixtys and saw the Burns, Suddick, Green and Hutchison midfield and that was the best one I`ve seen until the Prem team with Adam and Vaughn in. And yes I`m well aware that Koko can`t open his purse with out having a heart attack. But all this team needs is a decent addition or two in midfield, who, I honestly don`t know, maybe Cubero when fit will be enough, we`ll find out when he plays. |

To start shooting Clark down. Hes only been with these players for three days, what do people expect was going to happen, a win, a miracle? Blackpool fans have no patience, there is time to pull it around and when the team finally gets it together and a decent midfielder is brought in, the strikers will start to function. Its was always a catch up scenario and Clark might not be the new Sir Alex, but he does need a chance to prove his worth. |

Good try Jose to get what you wanted, but Chairman Karl not backing you let you and everyone else down. Best of luck for your future dealings. |

Good shout, he played for Pool in the seventies and hes got a good record as a manager, maybe out of are price range, but worth a try. |
| Forum Thread | Lee Clark at 09:40 28 Oct 2014
Don`t understand why so many punters don`t want Lee Clark. He`s a new young manager with a promising start to his manager career at Huddersfield, had a good win/lose record, than left to manage Birmingham, where he did not do so well. But, he`s only managed 2 clubs, yet everyone seems to have a grudge against, why? |

Thought Dielna did well when he replaced Joan in 1st half. He supplied Zoko the pass he scored from. |

How come we`re playing Tuesday, when we have a TV game on Friday. Not much recovery time for our lads, what happens if we pick up more injuries. Its hard enough playing the opposing team, but when your own chairmans got it in for your manager it makes it harder on these crowded weeks. But I think we might win one of these games. UTP |

Yes it would great if he could buy out the Oystons, lock, stock and barrel. There must be loads of superrich Arabs, Russians and orientals out there waiting to throw their money around. The question is, are Blackpool FC attractive enough as a buy out? |
| Forum Reply | Riga's test of Oyston? at 09:30 18 Sep 2014
Oyston got o put up the money or sack Riga. Having just publicly backed Riga, he has to back up his own words, will he? With his track record for the truth, I`m not so sure he will. I hope Riga gets what he wants, because I think he can pull this bad start around. |

I`ve posted new threads and posted on treads, maybe my treads aren't interesting enough, because most go ignored. I think its down to most of the posters on the old site just don`t want to change or actually like being abused and bad mouthed at my other posters. It will take time for old posters to change, I think this site will win them over in the end. |
| Forum Thread | Quality? at 12:49 17 Sep 2014
Well what quality is still out there on the free market, who would be a quality signing for us? Heard Chris Eagles is still free, can he still do a job? Come on Loans or free agents, who`s out there? |
| Forum Thread | Doing a Portsmouth. at 16:52 15 Sep 2014
Who do you think we do a Portsmouth and go down the plughole? I would suggest, Bolton, Fulham and Blackburn, all like spending money like water. |
| Forum Thread | Not easy on Tuesday. at 16:48 15 Sep 2014
Tuesday night won`t be easy against Watford. They`ll be coming to Pool knowing what to expect and so they will be at there best. Pool will have to be better from now on and hopefully the players are bonding and understanding each other, but we still need a touch of quality that hopefully will be Cubero and Mellis(when fit). Is Cubero able to play now, is the visa sorted? But I thing we may still win 2-1, should Riga play the same team as Sat. |
| Forum Reply | Finally at 10:31 14 Sep 2014
With that little bit of quality that a fit Mellis and Cubero can bring to the team, things may start to pick up. Maybe Koko will allow Jose to try for some Prem youngsters. |
| Forum Reply | Start with same team on Tuesday? at 10:27 14 Sep 2014
I`d agree, except for Cubero, he`ll be jetlagged and the worst for a bit of celebrating, maybe on the bench save him for Sat. |
| Forum Reply | Wolves result at 13:02 12 Sep 2014
I take Pool to win 1-0 with Ranger scoring. I would be great if, some how, Jose could stay in charge until next Sat and win all 3 games against Wolves, Watford and Brighton, next Sat, and rub Kokos nose in it. That would be priceless. |
| Forum Reply | Do you think this message board is pro-Oyston at 16:29 9 Sep 2014
I`m anti-Oyston, the sooner that family gets its slimy hands off Blackpool FC the better for all. But, I do feel that this board has a balance to it. Some posters on the other board were just plain nasty and I think maybe some enjoyed acting like internet trolls. |
