Think I might have to bookmark that Mitchell Johnson comment Robbie. Might come back to haunt you. You have a tendency to say things that stick in my head . My favourite being a comment on Ian Holloway once that was one of the nicest things you ever said about him..".He's a c**t but our c**t" |

I find him interesting but that maybe says more about me! Wouldn't like to guess his age, he could be anything. Think i need to get out more. |

The election was fascinating till 10pm last thursday and the exit poll. Think the Labour leadership contest will be interesting. |

Don't know about anyone else but im looking forward to a break for a few months till August with no football either televised or live. In fact im already on one. Not bothered with either of the champs league semi finals this week and the play offs, which is something I normally love, is not on my viewing list. Couldn't care less about the end of the premiership or FA cup final. Think its a combination of a long season last time with the world cup and not much break and the fact that when your own team is doing badly your less in love with the game itself. Will enjoy some summer sports and recharge the batteries I think and do other things . Anyone feel the same and just had enough of it all for a while? |

Wiz Every manager does due diligence but the trouble is once in place everything changes. Thats why Riga was appointed and didn't sign a player for nearly a month despite us having no players. Thats why Lee clark has to shuffle away with relegation on his cv with no chance of redemption because the plans (if you can call them that) and budget was so unpalatable. As for Holloway knowing more than us about the future? Like what? The owners are going to spend money and run a proper football club? You must believe in fairy's if you think that. |

The fact that this statement has been issued today after a long silence shows they are rattled after a weekend when they have taken a battering . Will they really sue the sun? It just seems a quick answer to me to all the criticism they have had for picking on individual fans and not bigger organisations. I doubt anything will come of it . Its certainly all out civil war now . The club will never be anything again until they sell up and leave. |

" I used to love non league but I think you lot wont embrace it " Like you were around when Fleetwood were non league . |

Bad day for Liverpool but at least Rodgers was honest in defeat. Lvg was wound up like a spring yesterday after man utd's defeat and we all know how crass mourinho can be with all his excuses and conspiracy theories. |

Maybe but the circumstances are completely different, so no comparison to be made. Bry, you keep telling yourself that. Basically the chairman sponsors his own club, thats the top and bottom of it. |

3k cant sustain league 1 football , its not going to increase that much in the future and if they ever have a dodgy season or two it will really hit hard because the fanbase is new and not used to struggle. Its also dependent on very cheap season tickets just to get that figure. Can they sustain the crowds they get now even for the next five years or so? I dont think they will. |

There is an irony that the year we've gone down is probably the weakest championship since we came up. |

Think Newcastle fans , like us , know where the real problem lies and thats their owner. Saying that, there is no way Carver will get the job permanent. |

The prem for me but in a slow burner kind of way . Just a desperation that we had run out of steam and the unfairness of it all that our season deserved so much more . This one has been the easiest because we never had a chance in the first place. |

This season has been a complete non starter and for me the most stress free season ive had for a very long time. It was quite obvious what was going to happen very early on and so no unbearably tense moments watching , no counting down the clock hanging on to victories , no bad Saturday nights because of a defeat. Now of course I would swap back to having the stress in a heartbeat, but it doesn't look like im going to have the opportunity any time soon. |

I think they have driven themselves into a position that this is going to start costing them money soon which they wont like . To balance against that is that they are naturally stubborn and I think genuinely like the attention of owning a football club and being the pantomime villains . Lets be honest , they sell and they will disappear from the limelight . Who knows how it will all end . |

The fact that you ask the question means you probably already know the answer. If nobody went anymore and the ground was empty every week with no matchday income then they would be gone very quickly. It really is that simple. By keep contributing, even though you know your money is going to all the wrong places, you are just prolonging their stay. I keep hearing people say that they don't like being told what to do and being told to stay away just makes them want to go. That's fair enough but it still doesn't make what their doing right and its not going to shift the O's one bit. In normal circumstances , in fact in nearly every circumstance , id say that supporting your club come what may is laudable and the right thing to do . This is probably the one time though that that is now not the case. In fact id say that going now is actually a selfish act but that is my opinion. Its like your doing it just because you cant bare to do anything else on a Saturday afternoon so sod the consequences. Or maybe a life analogy ... your wife's having an affair and you don't want to upset your cosy life so you just put up with it and ignore it . Instead of growing a pair and making a stand. Even if we make a fist of it next season and got promoted again I wouldn't change my stance. What would be the point? They have squandered our championship status away so cheaply and we have seen how they operate in that league even with millions of parachute money behind them . It's just not palatable at all to me in any way, shape or form with them running the club , if you can call it that . I want to know that day after day , week after week , the owners of my club are doing their level best for it and planning and striving to be the best we can possibly be. You will never get that with them , they are just not interested . It's not about walking away or giving up interest . Im as interested and as passionate about my club as ive ever been but I cant support it at the moment and help facilitate what they are doing . Its a time for stepping back , watching and waiting and looking forward to a time when we get our club back . [Post edited 5 Apr 2015 11:28]
