All footballed out

Don't know about anyone else but im looking forward to a break for a few months till August with no football either televised or live. In fact im already on one. Not bothered with either of the champs league semi finals this week and the play offs, which is something I normally love, is not on my viewing list. Couldn't care less about the end of the premiership or FA cup final.
Think its a combination of a long season last time with the world cup and not much break and the fact that when your own team is doing badly your less in love with the game itself. Will enjoy some summer sports and recharge the batteries I think and do other things .
Anyone feel the same and just had enough of it all for a while?

The old Bloomfield

I remember my dad telling me we once aquired one of the corner stands at bloomfield from Fleetwood. Think it was from their old ground at the Euston rather than Highbury.
So was it the one in the south west corner or the one that went from the west to the kop?
Never ever sat in the south one and in later days I think it housed the sponsers. Only sat in the kop one once for a midweek league cup tie against brum in the seventies.
Also , do you remember the grey seats they put in the scratchers? That must have wasted some money.

Tomorrow in the Gazette apparently. Now we can all probably guess a lot of what will be said and as someone said on the other site , its annoying me already just thinking about it .
Just as an aside though , does anybody remember the last time OO spoke out? Think it was after the Middlesbrough game or thereabouts . The jist of it was that he thought we had a fantastic team , as good as the one that went up to the premier league and we could be challenging for the play offs again.
So if anything he says at all tomorrow makes any sense, just think of what an expert he is regarding football and some of the ridiculous things he's come out with throughout the years .
Blackpool Coliseum with its floating pitch anyone?

Next two weeks are vital

Full credit to Riga for organising and motivating the team thus far, but to have any chance this season we need to bring quality in before the Huddersfield game. We must keep the momentum going there before a little tough run of games.
Imo, Chris Eagles would be a good start, free agent, championship standard and the odd goal in him. He would certainly add something better to our team. Then a couple of loans to the transfer window that brings extra quality, particularly offensively. Its not asking for the world is it?
Oyston bashing aside, we must have room in the budget after the savings in the summer. Now is the time to start using it and we have two whole weeks to get players in. Otherwise nights like friday will happen once every ten games and we will be detached long before xmas. It needs to happen now surely?

Opinions on Cubero?

I thought he had a good first half, wanted the ball and was very tidy.
Second half he tired as Norwich dominated.
Good passer and does the simple things, not sure he's a tackler.
Will not save our season on his own but would flourish with more quality around him.
