Went into town this morning for a pub breakfast. Haven’t been in for ages but was shocked at how many people there were just off their tits drugged up lying in doorways etc. There was one bloke just lying in the middle of the street surrounded by cans and rubbish, he’d obviously pooed himself judging by the aroma. Everyone was just walking past him ignoring him. I tapped him on the shoulder and asked if he was alright and he told me to F off so I did.

What the hell is going on in our towns and cities?

I stated yesterday that drugs have killed billions over the years .
They have killed generations
That which you witnessed is seen in every corner of the UK
Until we address the issue of why people take dope knowing it can kill ,we will continue to self destruct as we are .
Personally, I’d have kicked him in the head unless he could song me a song

Yep, I go in a few times a week, it's shocking to see how bad it's gone.

The laughable thing is these Rangers, they just stand around chatting, whilst these crackheads shout, scream and fight, especially on Oxford Street and they do nothing.

The Council in fairness are trying to make a go of the town centre, but they need to sort out this problem sharply

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

It's been like it for several years. When I was working in the town centre, over 2 years ago, I used to see it all everyday.
Go into a multi storey CP and find the druggies using the stairwells for toilets, shooting up, drinking alcohol til they pass out and then throwing up everywhere. Sometimes they'd try and break into cars. At the rear of the Kingsway you'd often find 2 or 3 who'd been on the rob, they'd be going through their haul to see what they could sell and what to dump.

Some of them were decent people who'd fallen into a dark place, some of them were proper scumbags, the rest were somewhere in between. The town centre was a mess back then and I can see it hasn't improved any.

It's not just Swansea its everywhere Sheffield last week before the game was an eye opener. Outside the railway station there was a tent in the walk way with 3 smackheads arguing and plenty more around the town.

This has been a problem for more than 14 years. Successive governments have failed this country going back 50 years. Labour and Tory, both to blame.

I observed something similar when I visited Bristol a few months ago. I had quite a shock given that Bristol is supposed to be on the up.

I agree, but it has got a lot worse in the last few years.

Well yes, as standards declined, money spent trying to combat the problem was cut back, policing was cut etc, the problem grew and today we see an almost exponential surge in the numbers.

We have addict parents producing addict kids, some are addicted before they are born.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Despite the lions share Cardiff is no bed of roses, plenty of rough sleepers and addicts about, you just won’t see it on the Welsh news.

Drugs are easily found in rural villages in England and Wales ,but especially Scotland.
Horrific death stats
Drugs kill.

Social liberal policies and tolerance of drug use including cannabis is to blame. This a is a western world problem. USA and throughout western Europe. People do not want to be " controlled" and want light touch policing. " It is only cannabis ". " Who does not like an occasional spliff" . " He was a good lad but cannot keep a job and left his wife a kids". "All these migrants are to blame".

I guess so, the context is the population, so the figures are expressed in per million of population.

Edinburgh was the death capital of the western world in the early 80’s.

Per capita.
