Us fans and signings 15:22 - Jan 11 with 2692 views | shandyjack | who are people expecting us too sign? Every player we have been linked with has been roundly criticised on here by the majority. I'm not to sure what people wanted Carroll - Good option who can help the transition and has potential to replace Leon long term Olsen - Good Left Back, PL experience and 40 caps for Sweden Sakho - Better than anything we currently have Narsingh - Plenty of CL experience and has played against PC a few times and he's seen he must have quality I', not sure why there is so much disregard to these signings if they all come off. 3 of the 4 would get straight into our starting XI

but who are we expecting us to sign, we don't have the money to go out and spend multi millions on players, we need players in who will improve the team and if we can stay up are more than good enough to bring us straight back up

Well we're already spending multi-millions on players that some people may well think aren't good enough to do either. Many of us are desperate for change, because the club looks fcked without it, and here we are with a bunch of the same targets we've been hearing about for 2-3 years now. I'm confused why you're confused why not everyone is content with these deals. Opinion's always going to be divided when we're buying his calibre of player for a struggling team.

And no player who we'd want to buy to for multi-millions would want to go to a club in the relegation zone.

Us fans and signings on 15:35 - Jan 11 with 2169 views | LeonWasGod | There are unrealistic expectations, for sure. But I get the impression that the frustrations are more to do with us being linked with some players we've been linked to for years, implying that PC isn't having as much of a role as people would like (or this moneyball bloke if you're that way inclined). Nothing wrong with Huw's signings if they are any good of course, but he hasn't got a good track record. We'll see - it will all come out in the wash.
Us fans and signings on 15:36 - Jan 11 with 2151 views | taff999555 | Carroll - too small and lightweight. We need a bigger more combative CM. we are weak enough from set pieces as it is without throwing another featherweight in. Olsen - if he was so great why wasn't he poached when Norwich went down? Sakai - would be a good signing imo. Narsingh - don't know a lot about him but from a small amount of research he sounds decent and hopefully can provide us with an end product from the by line.

Olsen - there are a lot of players in the championship who would improve us Carrol - We may well sign another CM as well

Us fans and signings on 15:43 - Jan 11 with 2100 views | pencoedjack | Carroll > could of signed Joe Allen for same money in the summer ( yes I am still bitter) was just an OK player when here last time > underwhelmed Olsen > good signing Sakho > never going to pay 20 million so it's not worth writing about Narsingh > from my mate who watches him week in week out he's rubbish. I am hoping his views are similar to the reserrection with Gylfi
Us fans and signings on 15:45 - Jan 11 with 2089 views | JackBaston | Consindering some of our links, these are all horrendous Badstuber and Batshuayi are the standard we should be aiming for, whether loans or not We're still a premier league team, but some are too happy to settle for championship signings already

I said they're the standard You're telling me theres no fringe players in the prem or in Spain or Germany that would come here on a 6 month loan? especially when Phil is saying that Clements using his contacts, you seriously think his contacts are at PSV, Norwich and West Ham?

still 20 days left in the window, a few permanent deals done early doesn't mean we won't sign any loanees, people are just assuming these are Huw's signings. Nobody knows if PC has given his approval first. The two new coaches who came in with PC will know Carroll well from Spurs. PC stated he was aware of Narsingh, Olsen is better than Taylor so i couldn't care if he is a Taylor signing

You've just made up that they're the standard because they're the sorts of players you'd like. Batshuayi looks like he'll go to West Ham who have more money, more chance of staying up, a stadium three times the size, some quality players and are based in London. Out of our reach. Badstuber is 30 times capped German international from one of the biggest clubs in the world who has just signed on loan for another good German side. Out of our reach. If they'd been signing for Palace or Sunderland, I'd agree with you. The fact that they haven't and they've gone to far better places than us, means that your expectations are too high. Don't know what's wrong with PC having contacts at PSV. Not sure where you've got West Ham from.. I'm assuming you mean Spurs? If so, his contacts are clearly at Spurs given that he has just appointed two coaches from there.
