Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Was that a reference to the shot he just had?

I'd say DYS is trying to be positive

That was an awful shot considering we had excellent options on, but no, I was referring to his cross before the 2nd goal.

Of course I'll get slated later when I discuss Shelvey in a way that suggests I don't think he's the next Gerrard or similar.

I'd be p!ssed of if I had to play in a team with Jazz. Looks like a footballer but unfortunately can't think like a footballer. Jeff has been immense in attack and defence, Gomis has tried and looked good with limited service, all reasonably good really. Just need Marv on now.

What a difference it makes when Shelvey plays it simple instead of looking for the eye of the needle pass. Well done to him tonight.

been in work so couldn't see any of the game. How did Besic perform? did we misss out on a good player or was he out of depth?

Glad we didn't sign Besic. Looked very good at times but not a Leon replacement - bit too much of a thug and can see plenty of cards for him this season.

He looks okay.

He didn't play exceptionally and he didn't play poorly.

£4m or whatever they paid for him seems about right.

Happy with that, good performance.

A few individual errors on both sides, but we kept our shape and they never really looked like they were going to score.

5 games at home, 1 conceded, and that was with 10 men. Plenty scored too.

Hapus iawn.

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

Good result and JJS and Montero played well, but other wise I thought it was a pretty low quality affair all round.

He's a good player DYS and still young. I'd like to think he's under less pressure here than he was at Liverpool where he was in the shadow of Gerard. He could be something really special for us if he keeps working hard.

Can't agree with you there I'm afraid. I thought we were very comfortable tonight and the scoreline reflected the difference between the teams.

I think that's the first time we have beaten Everton. What a lovely comfortable, competent performance. :D
