Gary Simpson is on the hunt for a few more players ahead of the new season.  Following the unsuccessful trial of Carl Pentney, a keeper is his number one target.

Simpson already has an unnamed keeper lined up and he could feature at Leek Town tomorrow afternoon.

A left sided defender is also on the gaffers wanted list as is a midfielder due to the injury worries over Hamza Bencherif and Ross Draper.

Speaking to the MOS Simpson said "A couple of the lads might not be coming down until Monday so they won't be available to have a game until Tuesday night.  I'm hoping to have a look at another 'keeper and I've got a couple of left sided defenders coming in to have a look because we only have Carl Tremarco in that position at the moment and would like a bit of competition or cover.  I'm also looking for someone else who can come in and play out wide for us."
