ok well i can't blame the welsh team itself but something isnt right. The whole situation is a joke.
*worlds most expensive player sits on the bench for his national team. unfit?? pfffttt
* the FAW is a complete joke and no manager/team/club has anything good to say about them
*we lose 2-1 to Macedonia
This is the greatest season there could ever be for Welsh football to start growing. The FAW should really start capitalizing on the fact that Wales has two major teams in the premier league and get everyone together to sort out the WPL. Make it into a league which people can be proud of.
as for the national team? why play top players? Give the national team positions to players in the WPL. why not? we may get thumped 8-0, but who cares, because we wont qualify for anything as it stands anyway.
time to shake things up. and not once did i mention Coleman, no need!!

Now back to the game,we are currently bottom of the group as Scotland are leading Macedonia 1-0, the way things are looking with 2 games remaining we will end there if the Scots hang on to their lead. Coleman could achieve a first as I do not think Wales have ever finished bottom of a qualifying group

Does put things in persepctive in fairness when we're arguing the relative merits of Vaughan and Robson-Kanu against Andrew Crofts.
Doesn't explain away the pss poor performance and lack of any obvious game plan that i can see however.

Well i think we have to change from the bottom up.
Get the WPL in order first. Take the league seriously and get people interested in football throughout the nation.
Get someone decent in the Wales youth set up, someone back on the lines of Flynn.
Then use our 2 premier league welsh teams to promote advertise or help out with the welsh leagues in some way. Could have open days for fans of these welsh clubs, training days, reduced ticket prices for youngsters playing in the leagues etc etc. for example Colwyn Bay have become a very highly respected football club for their area after forming a reserves team, ladies team, u21 team, kids team and so on. It didnt take much effort, put the idea out there and people will be interested. Lets get our youngsters away from their playstations and kick a football around with these first team players of their local WPL club.
Then with the welsh national side we have to make incentives for fans to come flocking to our Liberty and CCS stadiums to watch the welsh team play. Kids for a quid for example. fill the seats, get good merchandise on the shelves.
we can fight this low ebb we always seem to be in, we just need the governing body of FAW to pull their finger out of their arse and show some serious interest in promoting football in Wales. and why not? this is one of the best season ever in the history of welsh teams playing in the english leagues, so lets use it to push on and make some positive changes.
And for future reference Coleman should tell Bale to get his boots on and get out on the pitch if he isnt injured, and if the powers that be above Coleman are putting pressure on him not to play Bale for the benefit of Real Madrid then Coleman should grow some balls and name and shame the people in Real Madrid and FAW who is telling the manager of the national team who he should and shouldnt play.
in a nutshell we have two teams in the premier league, one team in the football league, a shitty national home league that everyone slags off. oh and we also have the worlds most expensive player ever.
what can we do with all of this to benefit the national team?

I know, and with a chorus of 'One Gary Speed' and 'We want Coleman out' echoing around the sparsley-populated Lego-chamber it just adds to the air of depression surrounding the welsh set-up at the moment.
I think there's even a thread on here lamenting that Flynn isn't involved at senior level anymore. I mean honestly.
