We will have too much for them today with
Beneteke , Agbonlahor and Weimann.
Called it right .
But
I always thought he was Rangers.

He got the push from Villa when Doug Ellis found out that Gregory was in cahoots with agent Paul Stretford (Gregory had shares in Stretford's Proactive agency):

I described Collymore's recent revelations about Gregory's double-dealing in the comments section of this article:

Played and managed Villa.
Played and managed us.
Played and managed Derby too.

These, I would suggest are three of his favourite things.

Good player, and good manager for us under the circumstances.
If only that volley had hit the net in '82.

He still has a soft for the R's. I hear him on the commentary for Fox in the States. Only ever has nice things to say about QPR.

Absolutely. He is a great admirer of Terry Venables though; I received a nice tweet from him after he read my tribute to TV.

Very competitive player for us, and as SonofNorfolt says, he did a very good job keeping us up under trying circumstances.

Say what you like, the bloke kept us up that year. Would we have been taken over in League 1?

(admittedly not so good after, but we did have no money and Zesh)

Too young to have seen him play but will always have a place at the club for what he did as a manager. Used to pay for the teams hotel out of his own pocket if I recall?
