Tazzy, the BBC story proves nothing apart from the fact that he was arrested---NOT charged in connection with an offence. Nothing has yet been proved.
Apart from that, to think that we should be compensated by the Football League because of something he is alleged to have done away from a football pitch is , I would say, one of your sillier suggestions. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Tazzy, the BBC story proves nothing apart from the fact that he was arrested---NOT charged in connection with an offence. Nothing has yet been proved.

Help needed for this: There was a referee in the 90s from whom we had several poor performances and was arrested for theft (from his colleagues in the dressing room I think). If I remember rightly if he wasn't Asian he had an Asian sounding name (much in the same way as Dean Mohareb), my original thought was Gurnam Singh but can find no record of this. For the sake of my sanity can anyone remember who it was? |  | | |
