The French kid teenager we've just 'signed' from another SR club is currently playing in the 3rd tier of French football so is a million miles away from starting for our first team.
I would love to know how many millions we have moved to the other club for him.
The PL dwarfs every other league in terms of money the clubs get and it seems like SR are making the best use of our PL money, while it lasts, to fund their other clubs.
I would wager this kid will never get on the pitch for our first team but they will be eagerly spending the money we've given them this January... [Post edited 10 Jan 9:57]

Presumably, there's some agent involved who's sending all these young Brazilian players to Sport Republic. Göztepe seem to have done particularly well out of the arrangement. They've got the best one of the lot, Rômulo Cardoso, the big striker who's their top goalscorer. I don't suppose there's any chance of us getting him? |  |

There must be zero money in the third tier of French football. So if we've gifted them £5m for this kid then they will be pretty much assured of buying their way into tier 2.
Which is fine from an overall SR point of view as they've moved one of their clubs up a level.

If you have financial traders in charge of a football club then everything of value in the club is a commodity to be traded.
You're not a fully functioning football club. SR have virtually zero interest in football (almost literally). Failure is what happens when you sell, and loan, your better assets for weaker ones.
The spiral downwards means the football club loses value and prestige only to be sold at an appropriate time when you're useless and cheap - and the financiers move on, having sucked the club dry.
I think the balance with 3 clubs is exactly that; trying to 'appear' to keep a viable balance between the clubs you own . so yes our assets (time and energy) will be used to balance the viability of all the clubs.
Really that means that all three clubs are heading towards the same level and for Saints that means getting worse while the French and Turkish teams improve.
As a committed Saints fan I'd say that is not the 'deal' I want because we are one club not a triumvirate or any other arrangement.
With one wealthy owner committed to that club , you're far better off and you can move forwards instead of sideways and downwards. Is it ironic that they picked a manager that played like that? [Post edited 10 Jan 13:07]

Looks loike the sort of plan that asset strippers will love. Inflate two duff clubs and make money by strangling the main breadwinner. Move on having trousered a small fortune with SFC in ruins. No sanctions against them so doubles all round. I don't know how Dragan views this though. | | | |

Money will be taken out of SFC and put into the Turkish and French outfits, no doubt about it.
When SR took over lots of personnel employed by SFC were removed to work for SR directly instead, including ALL the scouting staff. So it's not just cash generated by SFC being shared around, but resources too.
The sooner these asset strippers are out of our club thebetter. |  |
