Sjoke city 19:25 - Jan 7 with 2576 views | NoDiddley | So it’s owners Bet365 made £596 million profit for 2024, but they are shite, why doesn’t the owner Peter Coates put some dollar into them?🤷🏻♂️

Sjoke city on 20:53 - Jan 7 with 2026 views | bosh67 | My mate who's a season ticket holder there feels they have been totally mismanaged at board level for a decade now. It is amazing though that almost every season we seem to have near identical end of season stats with them with both sides fighting for 16th most years.

While they provide free coach travel for their fans at away games - for the 12th successive season. I imagine that that insulates them from too much fan discontent?

That must the reason why so few of them ever show up for the home games then.If you’re only paying £5 a game it doesn’t matter much if you miss a few.Unless they all come dressed as red plastic seats?

During the 10 years to 2018 when they were in the PL, they averaged c.27k (highest finish 12th.) Since relegation, their crowds have gone down to the 20-22k mark. That said, in the five Championship seasons before their PL spell (2003-2008), their crowds were only around the 15k mark, so it could be argued they're doing well to hold onto at least some of their PL support, esp considering the dross they've been serving up on the field. http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/stkc.htm | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Sjoke city on 13:42 - Jan 8 with 996 views | DavieQPR | Stoke are losing £696k a month since relegation. Their 2024 accounts show a loss of £30m before allowances deducted. So someone is pumping money in.

They might have sold that many tickets but there’s no way they have anywhere near 17/18k for home games.
