I see Danny John Jules is in it (Cat out of Red Dwarf), he's still knocking about the Kensal area, see him every now and then.

That certainly takes me back to my childhood in West London. While I'd never have the nerve to get up to what those kids did, even the more "square" kids I went to school with did at least a bit of shoplifting. If only they had the wonderful world of social media to keep them off the streets.

I know he is not everyone's cup of tea, but most other London clubs and beyond know who he is.

Thanks for posting this, what an incredible record of the west London my brother and I grew up in, I kept thinking I'd see us at some point, playing under the Westway or running down Portobello Road.

Concur with all of you who also grew up there - it had its rough sides, but it was a fantastic place and time to grow up in. And as Queensparker says, amazing to see a young Danny John-Jules in it too.

Sorry to hear about Gregor. I hope he pulls through.

Used to drink in the White Hart, Kelly’s and sometimes that awful club upstairs by the ferry terminal (Arks?) when we first moved down here.
A mate of mine used to live in Gosport before he moved to Southsea.
