Only if our CEO's complex, AI-driven, metadata analysis deems such a non-virtual forum necessary. I guess.

Hi Col!

yah yah.

Get yourself a for-ru-mundo boy! Talk about the water pressure and the lack of left back options. Seek some feedback from the backfeeds. Dial into the masses and drill their head for some opinio-natas.

yah yah

You are, as ever, a gibbons helmet.

Maybe we've had a couple, but he didn't tell anyone.

'Why was my son released? I am furious about this! He cries himself to sleep!'
'We keep telling you. He wasn't released, Mr Richards, it is a season long loan to Cambridge.'

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Exactly this.

They don't tell us transfer details, they won't let Clive interview Marti, they are unlikely to want to answer Qs about the stadium move, low water pressure, how close we are to P&S and whether Project Big Ben is working.

...and that is fine by me as long as they look after the club and keep progressing.

Sometimes too much information / openness. There is a balance...

Can we go out yet?

For 1980s East Germany maybe.

But if they tell us next to nothing, how can you or anyone know (or at least evaluate) how the club is progressing? Obviously!

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?

Absolutely. The tide turns so quickly.

All this cloak and dagger rubbish strikes me a little bit of the Briatore "they pay £20, I pay millions" entitlement and arrogance.

Even if you don't think that fans know very much or even matter (must admit, I used to hate all that "there should be a fan on the board" stuff, which struck me as about as useful as having a fan in goal) then there is such a thing as PR with your most loyal customers / fans. At least pretend to listen.

When Hoos was up for it I used to enjoy him jousting with the fans and the realities behind it all. You tell me what will bring the fans into the ground early, he would say, because we've tried and it doesn't actually work. You get your mates to come in if you think your idea will work.

Seemed a grown-up approach to me. Being honest. The things you need to keep quiet for business or competitive reasons, you can do that. But we need to be able to hold them to account in some way. We don't even know what we are accounting for at the moment.
