This is the game that Russell Martin has to win according to some. It could be the game that he doesn’t win but might do. If it’s a draw then he won’t have won the game, but certainly won’t have lost it. Welcome to the Swansea Independent matchday thread for people.

Substitutes: Lewis Webb, Joe Allen, Olivier Ntcham, Morgan Whittaker, Liam Cullen, Joel Latibeaudiere, Liam Walsh.
Blackpool: Chris Maxwell (captain), Callum Connolly, James Husband, Jerry Yates, Josh Bowler, Kenny Dougall, Sonny Carey, CJ Hamilton, Andy Lyons, Charlie Patino, Jordan Thorniley.
Substitutes: Daniel Grimshaw, Jordan Gabriel, Dom Thompson, Morgan Rogers, Ian Poveda, Curtis Nelson, Rob Apter.
Shocking win.. We are awful. Why do we keep playing to the left. When the space is to the right. Martin has no idea. Every out ball has to go thro Grimes. I am seriously worried that Martin is gonna lead us into League 1.

Not this year.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

That was a difficult game to watch. We need to be much better on Saturday at Blackburn
It was terrible.
We played the bottom of the league with 10 men for over an hour and only got 3 points thanks to an own goal, the post, a stupid red card and missed free header.
Sorinola looked good which says it all.
Another hammering is in the post.

Not this year.
Some of our posters seem disappointed that we won.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Always happy when we win......but lets get some perspective we struggled in reality against the bottom team in the league who had 10 players out and where down to 10 men ....we were at home and won curtesy of an own goal.... what was the sense in the subs Martin made?
We were lucky to get 3 points tonight that said Im happy we have got a win

The performance has t helped, albeit should have been four up when they scored.
Should have been 4 up v Brum. We just dont put chances/half chances away.

totally agree, at this level we need to take the chances, not waste really well worked openings thought manning was not his usual self and got caught in possession a few times when we had chances to attack their box on the whole a pretty poor performance
