Have we any ideas if tommorrows game will be going ahead?

It would be handy if ifollow is updated to make the rescheduled Crewe game our next match - currently has Charlton a week from today as the next one.

I had already used my code to purchase the original fixture hopefully it means it will just work for me on Saturday

I guess the difference this time round - certainly at the moment - is that the PPG formula was agreed after something like 80% completion of the season

We're currently at less than 50% completion, and doubt any promotion/relegation issues would be settled on that basis

But your general point is a good one, in that every game we play could be the last of 2020/21 and falling through the trapdoor becomes an ever greater prospect as the number of games accumulates

Could it be argued that 50% of games is actually fairer than 80%?

You're more likely to have played each team once in that scenario and with home advantage clearly not as relevant a factor this season (well not for us at least), that would arguably be fairer than playing some teams twice and others only once.

Tangled up in blue.

An interesting perspective!

A quick check and we've not played any team twice yet. I guess 50% would be reasonable on that basis. The most games played at the minute is by Burton, 22 (48%) but Accy have only played 16 (35%). Dale have played 18 (39%)

I think right now would be too soon for your point to apply, but we're probably just a handful of completed fixture lists from the tipping point

Been fixed now - comes up as next game available to purchase/redeem a code

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

Our problem is the squad will not cope with two games a week which will now have to happen in order to complete the season on time.
There won’t be many weeks were we don’t have two games from now on.
It’s quite a worry and I can only really see one outcome at the moment in afraid.

As long as we can be better than 4 other squads that struggle with 2 games a week it'll be reet.

We need to go all out to achieve 50 points as quickly as possible then, regardless of the tactics to achieve it.

We should have been doing exactly that since the start of the season.....we might have pissed around too much?

Hopefully not too late. Can we maintain the best parts of the passing and possession tactics, yet be more ruthless?
Like in the games against Plymouth and Wigan.

When we do play, get Beesley and Humphrys up front together and get balls into the box. It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that.

Have they played together in a home game yet?

We mentioned at the time that the likes of Hull and Lincoln were good value as they won at the COA.
On the other hand, having looked at the league table, two points from an available nine against Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers and Northampton isn’t too impressive. I hope we don’t come to rue those results.
