Lee Clark FIRED. Bucketti HIRED. bury PROMOTION PUSH back on track. 21:17 - Oct 29 with 35892 views | RAFCBLUE | Now, I'm not keen on bury but I have got to say I've some sympathy for Lee Clark. He comes in after Chairman Day fires Flitcroft and then goes on a recruitment spree of what I'll define as journeymen professionals supplemented by a gaming of the loan system. Now Clark has his faults but seems to have copped for Chairman Day arranging signings that he would not have wanted. I personally hope he wins at Woking next week and stays for a few more league games; the financial papering over the cracks is a timebomb that will explode eventually. He has a massive constructive dismissal claim coming if Day does decide to pull the trigger. [Post edited 23 Nov 2017 10:58]

Not an expert, but I think you have to be somewhere 2 years to claim unfair dismissal yet constructive dismissal (due to employer's conduct) can be at any time. [Post edited 29 Oct 2017 21:52]

If it's a case of not having control over signings, it's a non-starter, there'll almost certainly be something in the T&Cs of his contract about that See Koeman at Everton, in similar circumstances

Constructive dismissal can be claimed where an employer makes it impossible for an employee to continue, the employee has to quit at the moment this happens. It is v difficult to prove, and a very low percentage of claims at an employment tribunal are successful.

Lee Clark told tonight he will be fired if bury lose at Woking on 23:02 - Oct 29 with 11969 views | Sandyman | The employee is making it difficult for himself to continue in the job according to some which is a ludicrous assertion. IMHO, and hopefully M'Lud's, Mr Clark is doing a fantastic job and should remain in post in law until the ultimate demise of the business which employs him.

You can get 10/3 on a Woking win. 11/4 the draw. Lump on, Day can see the future!

That three managers running have collected players at such an alarming rate is not necessarily all down to them, such a policy has to be agreed. Maybe that will be considered when everyone is handing out compliments for taking action against an admittedly poor manager.

They need referring here: https://www.begambleaware.org Very frightening! Not the fact they have spent £900k but what they have spent it on!

Lee Clark FIRED ahead of Woking Cup upset. on 22:46 - Oct 30 with 10453 views | Toffeemanc | Absolutely gutted about this. I really really really wanted them to keep hold of him until Christmas in the hope he would already have them with one foot in league two before he was sacked. To be fair he has given it a good go and hopefully his successor will complete the job and get them relegated in time to open the new stadium in league two. Maybe Day should just appoint himself manager and save a wage as it seems he is playing his own game of football manager anyway. [Post edited 30 Oct 2017 22:47]

That's the first Chairman Day interview I've heard, where his voice betrays the words being used. The bit at the end where he stumbles to say "Bear with us." When he means "Stick with us" is telling. Credit to the interviewer for asking some proper questions, particularly on finances. The cracks are appearing - a deferred consideration transfer fee for Harry Bunn based on money they are due to receive on what is I assume James Vaughn. Hand to mouth.

Lee Clark FIRED ahead of Woking Cup upset. on 07:38 - Nov 1 with 9035 views | EllDale | Clark must have made some money out of being sacked though. Pay-outs at Huddersfield, Birmingham, Blackpool and now presumably from Bury. Mind you, the queue of creditors at Gigg must resemble that famous Tory 1979 election poster by now. I heard a story that Flicker didn't get a lump sum when he left but rather they continued to pay his salary every month to aid their cash flow.
