Tis a bit baffling that. Partic as, conference or not, Dudley has actually scored a few recently which nobody in a Bury shirt has been doing, and we could be without Leon for a few weeks. Yes, his full debut was pretty average but not everybody beats two defenders for pace and and rounds the keeper to score 20 mins into their first start (Nicky Adams did), it sometimes takes a few games.
Only previous instance I can think of is Blackwell once loaned Sodje out to someone in the conference telling everyone he wasn't good enough for L1 anymore (had a point) then brought him back two months later straight into the team, and I am not sure that is the sort of bracket DF wants to be placed in. |  |
