results elsewhere aren't helping. As it stands, Huddersfield are dropping which will no doubt spur them on at some stage

Typical dirty, horrible Leeds United. Watford full back and Dominic Poleon of Leeds chasing down a ball, young keeper comes out (replaced Almunia in the warm up) and Poleon realises he aint getting to it so pushes the full back into the keeper who is currently spark out on the deck and has been for nearly 10 minites. An even younger keeper on for Watford now making his debut.

It will get very interesting if Derby score. Will plunge Millwall into the bottom 3 where their recent form suggests they should be.......

Good job as Dougie Freeman said this week, its the players who were there in October that will be carrying them over the line today.

Erm

yes, I was chuckling at him trying to convince people they weren't a 1 man team. They have just won 9 home games on the trot with Craig playing all 9 - 35 mins without him and they are back where they were before January.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

they were talking about Watford earlier. I know a lot has been made of their loan players, but (and I might have got this wrong) they are under an embargo and aren't allowed to sign any players until 1st September. From a footballing point of view, you'd think they'd be better off staying where they are. (tho the £60 millon they'll get for finishing bottom of the Prem next season might soften the blow)

And the parachute payments for 4 years after.

How to make money.

Get promoted to the prem.

Give the team that took you up their chance (sentimental/spend nowt)

Get relegated immediately.

Stay in L1 for 3 years

Repeat ad infinitum.

I don't understand the Barnsley love-in. 2 years ago we were looking at the possibility of our best season ever, then they came knocking and we've had 2 terrible years. I am very proud of our former players of course, but they could all change clubs over the summer. I'm more bothered about our club's success than former players and the clubs they've moved to.

To be fair, I think many Dale fans look out for ex Dale players, it is just more evident today as 10 of the 12 Championship games involve relegation/promotion hopes. Add that to the fact that our season is over, and it is the final interesting bit of football until August!!
