A bit of an unfortunate slip

What did he say?

"When we go down....sorry, if we go down."

It Is What It Is !!

"when we get relegated" as opposed to "if"

on the subject of relegation, he also suggested no relegation and no promotion, which will probably get a lot of headlines, but i believe that the answer was slightly more tongue in cheek, and referring to QPR's current position more than anything else...

Can we not knock it?

But doesn't he realise that Clean Sheets are Key and that everyone is Buzzing in Training?

Fair play to him, would rather the board accept we're doomed and plan well ahead for next season than kid themselves that were going to escape and be fcked when we go down.

Where/when did he say this? Would like to hear it.
Don't mind at all tbh - some planning and realism required at this point.

People on here have been saying "when" we are relegated for weeks.

Phil Beard is one of the most positive appointments the club has taken imho.

They have vision and we must stay behind them come that may.

Been here since 1984. Now THAT is what you call punishment

Ah great.Does the club shop have an official towel we can throw in?

all it's going to take is 3 more wins to stay up imo so I hope Phil Beard hasn't given up yet but like a lot of fans I imagine he is expecting the worst.

Stupid idiot, came across as a bit David Brent.

Needs some more media training methinks.

Phillip Beard is one of the most respected figures in business. We are very lucky to have him at our club.

Wish I could be like David Watts

Apart from the fact that he sacked Warnock.

Give it time... Some of our 'so called fans and posters on here' will turn on him and the rest of the board and try running them out the club!!

Some people dont know a good thing when they see it!!

Infuriating isn't it, probably got our best owner since Jim Gregory, wiped out all external debt, got long term plans and still people moan at him on twitter etc.

The only mistake they have made in all of this in my mind was not to put drop out of premier means drop in wages for the new players that will cost a lot and they will learn from this.

As owners go Amit and Tony are the best we could have dreamed off

Have to confess to going completely the other way and fawning at him like a school girl when he was in the Adelaide a few weeks hence.

Embarassing for a grown man

You can be as positive as you like but in all likelihood, we are going to be relegated. Not really a shock slip-up.

On that PB footage, no big deal. It wound me up more the way the ssn reporter tried to twist things about the "vote for relegation" comment. W.anker

How do you know they haven't put a relegation clause in the player's contracts? Traore said in an interview a few weeks ago that there are relegation clauses.
