Oh dear, what a shame.

Do we know for sure that Bahrain’s goal bounced off Souttar or was merely diverted off course by his gravitational field?

Terrific save from the keeper there

Gordon up against Coleman is some sort of cruelty.

Rice and Grealish.

Sorry, that's hilarious.

Might be an idea to stop booing RIce and Grealish.

Early days but the decisions Southgate made is being shown as bad.
Grealish is running this game, never went, Gordon is causing havoc down the left... got a minute .....

England have had more attacks in half an hour than they managed in the whole of the Euros.
Southgate totally sucked the life out of the team: thank God he’s gone.

He never sang the Irish Anthem either .
He turned down the Irish job as he had higher ambitions.
It’s a non story.
I wish him well. Top bloke by all accounts.

It reminds me of the first time that Terry Mancini played for Ireland and didn’t know that the anthem being played was the Irish one.I think Brian mentioned it before that it was our own Don Givens who put him straight.
Are any anthems respected by opposing fans any more? Its all a bit pathetic to boo an anthem surely.

Decent half there for us. Chalk and cheese between that England and the one under Boregate
Mainoo and Grealish running that midfield and Rice is playing a lot further up... im not sure we have an holding midfielder....
Gordon is having a good game as well... and Guéhi looks good as well.
Not great opposition in all honesty.
Think after 60 mins and we are still 2 up, be a few changes. Rest players for Tuesday, and also see what the others can do. Hope Eze gets on

Ya,

Apparently he said to Givens:

"That wasn't much cop, what's ours like?"
"That was ours".

Ireland usually applaud oppo National Anthem. Very poor form today.

Wouldn’t get too carried away . Very poor Ireland team with a nonentity of a midfield.
England can have as many as they want .
One thing for sure though England will thrive under Carsley .
A coach to suit the quality of players they have .
Just thankful Eze and Bellingham aren’t playing .

Only have heard two anthems booed at Windsor Park ,Belfast.
Ireland and Wales who had previously given our anthem (GSTK)the treatment.
Although it may happen to Scotland next time for the same offence at Hampden.

not hard to be quiet for a few bars of an anthem though.

Just smashed one into the top corner against 40,000 or so booing you and you don’t celebrate. Not for me, Clive.

Not up against much but nice to see a team playing to score goals. A bold strategy.

Great write up of how Terry ended up playing for Ireland and his "vertical bean"

Well, I think it is too, Ted.

But if it's the oppo's National Anthem we shouldn't be booing it.

Only winning because of two Irish own goals.

Carsley out.

Dunno, Ireland isn’t France (or Netherlands).

This the worst Ireland side in a long while. Sorry Brian.

It's like a Championship side playing a Premier side.

Watching the Ireland v England game I find myself again amazed that Grealish can be considered ahead of Eze. Is it because I am biased toward Eze? I know I am. Or is it that Grealish really is overrated?
