Sept home games 09:19 - Aug 27 with 2716 viewsfrenzied

As it stands the Sept home games will put us up against 4 of the top sides.

A tough challenge for our new team but it will give us an early idea of just how far we have progressed.

The first of those, against old rivals Halifax, is the first i'll be looking forward to

I can't be the only one with a distinct feeling of being underwhelmed by fixtures against Ebbsfleet, Eastleigh, Bromley

They are, of course, our equals now and that's where we are

Although, given league positions can quickly change early in the season, especially given the high amount of games to be played, those four 'top' sides might not be by the time we play them.

Dale 5th v 9th Halifax.

Halifax only lost 1 to Dales 2 losses.

Halifax only won 2 to Dales 3 victories.

It will be a proper test I am looking forward to it. Is Clayton back in contention was his ban 1 match?

Indeed.

Just took a trip down memory lane for the FA Cup tie against Bromley in 2017, 6 seasons ago. We were 19th in L1 at that time, with KH still in charge, BJ played and was booked and below is the team who won 4-0 at Spotland. A year we were in the same League as Bury, Oldham and Scunny.

A season we went on to draw with Spurs.

Shows how far we've dropped, but hopefully the regeneration continues apace. Be good to see how we measure up against the Shaymen next Saturday

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!
