Glad we are getting all these strikers in.

Never knowingly right.

It's an affirmative from me but I'll be looking for them to double up on the old cod liver oil, glucosamine suppositories, eye of newt liqueur, leech therapy and whatever other white magic can keep them available for an actual season.

If we sign both it does feel like we’ll be very top heavy when it comes to defence and central midfield.

Saving grace is the timing of this. Both players’ agents will have tested the market, and I would strongly wager they’ll be on significantly less this coming season than last as the leverage is with us. They’d have gone elsewhere if the demand had existed.

I do feel we can trust LF and LH with the finances now.

IIRC Rangel was offered a contract back when the rest of the old wood had been let go. He just hadn't agreed terms I guess. Cameron could get peanuts in MLS, maybe we added a bit of salt to make him stay. Neither of them are a total waste of space, either on or off the pitch.

If we sign Cameron then that Ball transfer looks weirder than it already does.

A bit like Gobern a few years ago....

Just feel like we are getting a really bloated squad again. At RB we would have Furlong, Rangel and Kakay. No need for Furlong to go centre now as we have 5 CB's.

Is Warburton a 532 manager? I keep looking at the squad thinking where does everyone fit in.

4231 would still be my choice.

Yes to both from me.

We need some experience and both impressed when playing.

The kids are going to need some help this season.

We are either going to be top 4 or bottom 4. The joys of QPR!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

given Hall's injury record it's more like 4 and a half centre halves but know what you mean

Cameron coming in seems an odd one

Let the manager and DOF do their jobs and we can pick the bones out of it come January. We rarely call it right as fans when the club recruits players.

I’d say Kakay might go out on loan. Remember Cousins and Pav were utilised there a few times last season and they’ve gone. As for centre backs they’re definitely needed. Some of the signings like Masterson probably won’t be first choice from the off. Most likely won’t get more than 10-15 games out of Hall. We need these players. Only question mark is will they be good enough.

Depending on wages I'd be happy with both.
By all accounts Rangel is a thoroughly good character to have around the club. Expect him to play second fiddle to Furlong.
We usually looked better last year with Cameron in the side. And he offers a physical presence in a midfield full of midgets.
Both would bring experience to an otherwise very young squad.

The first sentence is the most important but I'd trust MW, Sir Les and Hoos to get this right.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." We must be up to a squad of 25 now and thats without a couple of strikers.

What are we going to do with the likes of

Hall - possible loan would be good for him and us
Kakay
Phillips
Nick
Goss
Wheeler
Walker
Oteh

and how much development time will Manning and Smyth realistically get?

Lets say 4231, with Cameron and Angel signing...

Lumley
Furlong / BFG / Barbet / Wallace
Cameron / Scowen
BOS / Eze / Chair
Smyth

Subs Kelly, Amos, Ball, Rangel, Shodipo, Smith + a striker (although not sure if its only the Prem that allow 7 now?)

Think I would disagree with this line-up. I think Smith and Amos will be first choice. Also believe that Kelly will be number 1 before Lumley. In fact wouldn't be that surprised to see Lumley go as the (apparently) highly-rated Dieng has signed a new contract - to be 3rd choice?

We have lost/losing 8-11 players - Freeman, (Luongo prob), Ingram, Lynch, Bidwell, Pavel, Smith, Baptiste, Cousins, and two loanees, so need quite a few though Cameron is a bit of a strange one.

Agree that MW is very unlikely to deviate but a three of Furlong Cameron Barbet looks quite good on paper actually. Smith and Manning at WB too maybe.

Of course the worry is it that the free flowing 4-2-3-1 is going to be so all over the place no one will be able to tell either way...

Smith maybe but Amos is coming back from injury I think so Spurs may not want him flogged to death.
