Who is paying the £150 balance 20:36 - Jun 21 with 21171 views | Jimlidale | Firstly £200 is fantastic value I will not deny that. There is an elephant in the room however how many deposits are going to become season tickets? [Post edited 21 Jun 2017 21:05]

Who is paying the £150 balance on 10:19 - Jun 22 with 3332 views | windowsbug | The irony is.... if everyone that put a deposit down had put two down instead, we would have reached the £110 point. Two deposits =£100 Pay the balance £60 on one of the deposits. Total £160. Still cheaper

Also the club stands to make more money now than if they had sold 4000 at £110 although that depends on proportion of concession tickets.

Really? What about the possible additional merchandise, food, drink, programs they'd make for every single home game with a potential 1700ish extra home fans....

That wouldn't apply if many of the additional 1700 could only attend a few games.
Who is paying the £150 balance on 13:18 - Jun 22 with 3119 views | boromat | My biggest worry now that we've got 2300 ish season ticket holders (which lets be fair is approx. the same as what we'd get attendances last season with season tickets and pay on the days combined) is will we get any pay on the days? If so how many? And where is the extra revenue going to come from to cover the huge finincial gap? Or am I missing something here?

There's much more chance of them attending having bought a season ticket, not to mention the possibility of buying again next year as repeat business too? It makes no business sense at all longer term whilst trying to grow the fan base settling for a higher "quick fix". The club have a model in mind for the eventuality of 4000 tickets all selling at £110,the difference is minimal in the short term but could have proven enormous moving forward....
Who is paying the £150 balance on 13:35 - Jun 22 with 3093 views | dingdangblue | Most people budget from month to month - so as far as I'm concerned the £50 deposit is history - it's gone. As I see it now I am paying £150 next month for a season ticket or even better £6.50 a game. Anyone who doesn't pay their £150 is daft. It's an incredible price.

It is an incredible price but only if you go to over a certain number of games.

It's a 'season' ticket. To watch League 1 football, in this day and age, it would still be a good price if you could only attend half of the games.

Yes absolutely correct but the £110 price tag made it attractive to those that might only attend 5 games.

The intention is to attract greater numbers to a majority of games, thereby boosting the atmosphere and revenue on matchdays - not to make it viable for those who can only get to 5 or 6 games a season, and then possibly loan the ST to someone else thereby losing the club cash on the day [Post edited 22 Jun 2017 17:32]

It sort of is and it sort of isn't. There are the group that Jimli specified that can only get to a few games and clearly they wouldn't contribute a lot in terms of atmosphere or £s in the tills. Then there are fans of other clubs who might come to half of Dale games say. Then there are folk who just have little disposable income Then there are people who can't get to many games due to circumstances. But if all the above did buy a very cheap ST and went and saw some real good footy like we showed ourselves to be capable of playing last season, and they told their mates, took a few along when offers were on, then the thing just might start to snowball a little, like the mini momentum gain in sales up to the deadline. Sometimes you have to lay some ground bait down to come up with a good catch!

There's a lot more that could be done without reducing prices even further, including extending the £200 deal. RR is right in that the club would be mad to turn away anyone presenting with £200 - someone should try it! This initiative may take more than one season to become a snowball - we'll see if there's any more snowflakes around next season...

I'm not advocating reducing prices now - it is what it is this season, but I agree - why have a deadline at all although August the 1st has been set for balance payments, so the same deadline has to apply to all.

Who is paying the £150 balance on 19:03 - Jun 22 with 2687 views | Jimlidale | Considering the ticket purchasing interface issues they should just say £200 if you purchase before the start of the season.

Who is paying the £150 balance on 20:36 - Jun 22 with 2614 views | mikehunt | So, go on, what happened at Hartlepools? Didn't they do something like this? And made headlines and the rest of us jealous with the number of season tickets sold. What was their model and how has it panned out? Is some type of scheme still running there? Are we trying to emulate that model or improve on it? I presume our Russ had a hand in the 'Pools model at some point.

Let`s just put this year`s to a bit of naivety and use it as a learning curve. |
The voice of reason 51 ,not like you .I am coming across all negative again which i am trying not to do ,you know i just dont accept incompetence and half hearted anything. If a project is worth doing its worth doing the right way and this season ticket initiative can be debated all day long .The one thing the directors have done over the years is keep the club from going bust and that alone is the one and biggest compliment they can get from fans of a club our size .See you in the bar old man 12 august your round i believe lemon and lime for me.

Now don`t start saying nice things to me I get worried. I agree about the work done keeping the club financially stable especially when we look at how some of our neighbours have fared. I see this seasons ticket push as a step forward and hope it proves to be rewarding for supporter and club alike, because keeping our club going has to be the priority. Sorry never take money to home games (season ticket) so it is down to you hop along (remember the walk to Accy) We can get drunk together you on lemon and lime and me on soda and lime
Who is paying the £150 balance on 22:10 - Jun 23 with 2146 views | ceme_ender | It's a season ticket for league 1 football for £200 . It's a bargain, get down and support your local team. How many Man Utd fans / armchairs do you work with who don't go to a game all year. What's the point. Get down to Spotland every other Saturday at three o'clock. I've got mine for gigg for £250, still a bargain. Its 8 quid a game at Radcliffe and 15?at Stockport, Surely now is the time at 200 quid to get down there every game. See you at the end of august.

Who is paying the £150 balance on 08:19 - Aug 2 with 1574 views | Knowlesy | It doesn't compute to me that someone would pay £50 and then swallow that and not go for the full balance. If you were gonna try and get to a few games, if you were aiming to get to 8 games without a season ticket then that's £160, which is more than the balance on your season ticket. For me, you'd have to only be wanting to go to 4 or 5 games to even consider not taking it up, in which case it's silly to put a deposit down in the first place.
