"Roy Hodgson begins talks with FA over England manager's job
West Brom have granted permission for the Football Association to speak to Roy Hodgson about the vacant England manager's position.
Hodgson, 64, has already spoken with FA chairman David Bernstein about replacing Fabio Capello.
Bernstein said: "Roy is the only manager we have approached and we remain on course to make an appointment within the timescale we set out.
"Further conversations will now take place with Roy." |

Been pretty quiet on here regarding the game today.
Brentford fans think their season is over and the players are already on the beach. Hopeful of a win, but fearful of an 'after the lord mayor's show' performance.
Been wondering about Weston for them after the fast players thread. Made Wiseman look a little slow in the first game, so will Robbie keep his place (which he doesn't deserve to lose) or will Widdowson return for this one due to his extra pace?
I'd like to see Done get one today, hope he's worked on his finishing under pressure.
