Might seem on an Oldham Game thread but I am going to talk about the match.
I see this as our biggest, most, important game since we exited the EFL. We seem to be in fine fettle so no excuses for not putting in a big performance tonight. Unless Oldham play a low block, which I can’t see happening or being tolerated by their fans. If we play to our strengths and get the crowd engaged early I think we will have too much for them.
A month ago I wouldn’t probably have been able to say that, so the rearranged fixture might have worked in our favour. Like everyone I prefer points on the board to games in hand. Tonight begins the task of turning those games into a positive move up the table.
If the players want it as much as the fans do tonight can really be the catalyst to spark a surge up the table.
Give it some welly.

great post . i agree with everything you said there. i think our quality to knock the ball about will win us the game. they aren't great on confidence at the minute and alot of them will still be sulking at the game being called off from last time. great time to be playing them. never know with games like this as form goes out the window but have a great feeling that we will win this and have them sent down the road. up the dale | | | |

Quite a few from discussions I’ve had. I appreciate the back and forth with this clearly illiterate individual wasn’t doing the forum much good so I discussed it with Chaff snd told him I wouldn’t be directly responding to him, despite him telling porkies to try to get me to.
I could see how this was heading and I’ve been proven right. Chaff has explained his reasons why he hasn’t been banned, which I don’t agree with, but accept his decision. If I was still admin as I was many years ago, he’d have gone after his first post because I can see them a mile away.
Lots of posts around this bellend have been deleted but I’ve an incredible memory of remembering what people have said.
It’s only natural people will want to respond if they’re getting fed up with it but I somewhat agree that the man child should be ignored. | |

I agree with everything you say. I certainly believe if the game opens up we will have more than enough to win the match.
However, it may seem an odd thing to say about a team who have scored six goals in their last two games but I feel we still need to be more clinical in our finishing . If we had taken the easy chances we created in those last two games we should have scored even more.
Failure to capitalise on our chances against Oldham could come back and bite us on the bum and I don't think we need to be going into the closing stages clinging on.
So come on boys be sharp and take the chances you make and show those Oldham hordes what you are capable of.
