Lovely! A win away and a chance to sing 'We're top of the league' again. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. First time I've seen us win away since Yeovil 3 years ago.
Completely bossed the 2nd half but until the goal it was looking difficult to see how we were going to make the breakthrough. We weren't really creating clear cut chances and our passing needed a bit more zip. Cardiff clearly there for the taking but you wondered if we were brave enough to risk the point and take the game by the scruff of the neck. But we visibly grew in confidence and self belief after we'd got the first goal and were in complete control thereafter. Wonderful crossed free kick from Bidwell and Caulker's thumping header left Marshall no chance. Surprisingly little threat from the home team but Rangers should take a lot of credit for that. Caulker was immense and my clear MOM even before he scored. |  | | |
