No idea if true, but a Tranmere fan with whom I went to uni with, has just gone nuts messaging me asking if the rumour he is hearing, that Gill's wanted by them as their next manager is true?
I recently logged in to facebook for the first time in several months, and was greeted instantly with an old acquaintance's post of his top 10 films of all time, and despite being very generic, it got me thinking of my own.
I find it near impossible to compile such lists, as it probably changes based on the mood I'm in, so I looked up some best of lists and found Empire's 100 greatest list.
Looking down the list, I have only actually seen around 45 of them, but what stands out to me is that I have never watched the number one choice, The Godfather. Well I have watched about 20 minutes or so, but fell asleep. Anyone else have a "classic" that they have not seen?
Also, the Empire list is way off from my own personal choices.
John Phillips from Swansea lost again. Spirited effort but got dismantled as soon as it went to the floor. I think it shows that if a young UK fighter really wants to stand a chance of success at the highest level, they really need to move away to a gym with a grappling pedigree early in their development. You cannot just get away with walking forward taking shots and hoping to land a big bomb.
Finally managed to convince my wife not to "fully trim up" this year. The only thing she suggested on was the tree. So next year, my goal will be to not get the tree out the occasion, and then the year after no presents at all.
Taken a few years but think I have finally cracked it and managed to extract all the christmas spirit from her.
Just sat and watched this. I would like to say this is the best film I have seen for a long time. But then I would be a liar. An absolute mess of a film.
70 days in prison for acting oddly and staring through a window at someone, then walking past a couple of hours after. There has to be more to the story.
