Paterson made all the difference as an attacking MF. Fisher is work in progress. Christie looks a class act, as does Downes. Is there anywhere he can’t play? I honestly think he could do a job up front in an emergency. But the big elephant in the room,is playing the suicide football out from the keeper. even the pro’s on Sky can’t believe it.
We have the worst record in all the leagues for conceding goals in the first 30 mins because of it. Brain dead football.
How Blackburn didn’t score is a mystery. Great battling team performance after yet another wrong decision by a ref for2nd card, and the pathetic holding of his head by Lenihan. There should be retrospective action for cheats like that.
