2014/2015 kit on 14:06 - May 15 with 6419 views | Glyn1 | The worst one has got to be Newcastle's - there's no way that they could have made it look more cheap and nasty. Lazio's look good, and actually Crystal Palace's does as well.

2014/2015 kit on 21:53 - May 15 with 5813 views | Pacemaker | Unfortunately no further contract details were announced. It is likely that the new Swansea City 2014-2015 Shirts will be based on a Adidas 14-15 Teamwear Kit: Condivo 14, Tabela 14, Regista 14 and Entrada 14 Swansea City first signed a kit deal with adidas back in 2011 and it is likely that next season’s kits for the Welsh club will be based on a 2014 template seen on many of the adidas World Cup kits launched recently.

The launch last year was a delayed dressed up complete mess, blaming anyone who the could, FFS we are PL now, fans might want to take new kits on holiday with them, in June. Launching late is a complete joke, why don't the club get this? Are we in limbo sponsor wise again (GF last resort) are Adidas dictating and putting so much pressure on us? Might be best to cancel your holiday and rebook when you have a nice new shirt to wear. [Post edited 15 May 2014 23:23]

2014/2015 kit on 23:10 - May 15 with 5533 views | JackoBoostardo | The Away shirt Was considered the best looking shirt in the Premier League by a number of media sources and surveys.... and it did stand out. However, it's still an Adidas template. Would be nice to have something like other teams are able to get, and will reflect our club and colours properly to the world! Come on club - sort it out!!! (And get a decent sponsor will ya!)

I’m not saying the club can’t improve off the field, but is not being able to buy the shirt for “next season” in May, or even June for that matter, really such a big deal?

Do you want a sponsor that looks nice on the shirt or is it more important to have a sponsor that pay us a seven figure sum every year?

It's important to get a decent sponsor who pays good levels for the privilege of appearing on our clubs kit. GWFX were a cheap alternative and a last minute sponsor weren't they? The commercial team appear to have a history of selling the club short the past few seasons. [Post edited 16 May 2014 10:29]

Hasn't this been our best sponsor to date? (Financially.) "It's not pretty enough, get a decent one." FFS.

Wasn't there a lot of disappointment when these were announced. Thinking back, I recall these were added due to a more beneficial sponsorship deal being dropped for whatever reason (which also delayed the release of the kit in store?).

Well please enlighten us if we're wrong. Afterall, this was the general accepted consensus when GWFX were announced as our sponsor from credible posters here?

I don't know if you are wrong as I don't know what you believe the figure to be on an annual basis. After all my view of a good amount may differ vastly higher or lower from yours Leigh Dineen asked a month or so back for this response to be placed on here with regards the change from 32Red to GWFX What I know is that a seven figure deal for a shirt sponsor to me is a good one?? -- I can’t obviously go into too much detail ref the 32red deal buyout but will try my best to shed some light on it. There were 2 reasons why we approached them to ask them to forgo their final year. Firstly the board felt that they didn’t want to have a betting company on the front of shirt any longer. It had been 4 years and children weren’t able to buy proper replicas and also it meant we could look at ‘ betting ‘ as a partnership rather than main sponsor ( exclusivity rights didn’t allow us to have a betting partner as well as main ). In the premier league a betting partnership can have better revenue than say a main sponsor in the championship ( our deal with 32Red was done in the championship ) Secondly we were in the early stages of looking at the stadium expansion and wanted to test the market place. By having the shirt option available made sense plus the naming rights of the stadium only had a few years to run. At no time did we break with 32Red because we had something already lined up. I’m not sure where that came from. We were talking to quite a few interested parties at the time , some construction and some not but none were particularly near completion. The board had decided they wanted to take the risk at the time and in the end it was well founded and one of those we had been talking to came to fruition which was great. You will note that alongside that we now have 2 betting partners which we didn’t have before. The downside of course was that we might not have had a front of shirt at all but we were comfortable with that as part of a long term strategy. We try not to do things on an adhoc short term basis. Hope this helps. --
