Wrong. When it was released the day before fathers day, there was a queue around the stadium and they sold out.

But, I would say, that the vast majority of those purchases, would have been made anyway. I doubt the club lost out on sales.

Many of the people buying the kit were women and children for fathers day. They would not normally bought the shirts. Also don't under estimate the holiday market. People buy new clothes to go on holiday, the shirt market in this period is immense.
