With us potentially being able to get back into the top 4 with a win against Palace on the weekend, i had a look at Southampton's next few fixtures as they seem to be occupying a false position in 2nd place and MUST have some hard games approaching, it seems they do.

They are currently 8 points ahead of us so id like to make at least 5 points of that up in the next 3 games leaving us within one game striking distance, we have:-
Palace (h)
QPR (h)
West Ham (a)
Its a decent sized ask but we could seriously be going into the new year occupying a Champions League place. What a great season so far. |  |

I pull no punches Perch - you know that, if things need to be said or indeed asked then i will do it. I simply stated my opinion and put it very nicely and got abused for it - so wanted to get to the bottom of it.
Having a menstrual cycle is natural and not in the slight bit offensive. Its like asking me if i am hungry as a reason to my grouchiness (should it happen). Ive lived with women long enough to know how grouchy they get when it occurs. Rather than assassinate the character of a poster I've actually enjoyed reading over the last few months i mused to the possibility of an external factor being the cause for her angry and needless personal attacks.

I didnt say we were a better team than them, not once.
I said over the next 3 games we can gain on them (we went from 9 points behind to 4 points behind) proving that correct.
And they are currently occupying a false position in 2nd. They are no longer second which also proves that correct.
What is there to worm out of?

My mouth hasn't mentioned Everton, not once, i have no opinion on them and haven't watched them closely enough to know. So "putting my money where my mouth is" would refer to Southampton right?

You have dug this thread up because you wanted to prove I was wrong (even though everything I said in the OP has come true).
So if you still want to disagree I will happily bet as much as you have, that Southampton will not finish in the top 2.

Southampton have been churning out quality players for year. A lot of the prices reflect their reputation for bringing through good youngsters.
