Very good point considering all our injuries and a one goal deficit.

So ordinary that they are 5th in the division (whereas we are 3rd)

Match Thread vs Reading on 14:14 - Nov 9 by kropotkin41 | Agreed. Amazing to think that it seemed like we had a surfeit of midfielders. I just get a bit worried when we look casual and then get caught by hard working teams. Their goal and all their best chances seemed to come from us surrendering the ball too easily. Thank goodness for Joey Barton!! |
Barton anytime scorer @9/2 BOOM! Thought it was a very entertaining match. Shame we never got the early goal that we threatened because it looked like we were going to dominate them at that stage. Very annoying to see Hoilett f*cked again.

Yep. AJ looked lively at times when he came on. Like to see AJ and Austin up front as a regular partnership.
Match Thread vs Reading on 14:20 - Nov 9 with 1952 views | isawqpratwcity | Just got back on after watching 2nd half. We could've won, but didn't, but a lose would have been disproportionate. Still reckon it should've been ours.

Starting to look a lot more fluid. Creating chances. It's a. marathon not a sprint and I think we are improving. AJ is real class, makes a huge difference. Still lost only 1 game. Just need Burnley and Leicester to start dropping a few points.

I thought BAE was one of our better players, it was simpson who nearly got caught out a couple of times. Good performance all round but desperately lacking killer instinct.

Yes. A bit like a sulky kid at times. Things dont go our way-we go into ourselves. Injuries are a big worry now but there are options and Harry needs to try a few things when the chips are down. AJ caused lots of problems for them and we need to help Charlie big time.
Match Thread vs Reading on 14:36 - Nov 9 with 1785 views | WeaverQPR | Could AJ play in the Hoilett position? Johnno looked good again when brought on.

Your right about Simpson, but it was the yellow card that annoyed me. It seemed a relatively straight forward challenge, instead he casually poked a foot at it and followed up with a light push. A couple of balls got punted down the line where we could have held possession as well. It isn't that he does that badly, just he could do so much better.
