Windows smashed at club shop and a group of Hartlepool morons scrapping and throwing missiles in Willbutts lane to the embarrassment of their own.

Bloody idiots.

There were a few trying to gain entry to the Sandy but they were swiftly moved away. Couple of bricks thrown but nothing much else...

Retards. Its not the 80s any more.

There was some scrapping outside the Dale bar before kick off. Looked like Pools v Pools though

There were 10-15 of them shaking at the gates on the sandy with five minutes to go. No police showed up at all. Full time came and the stewards wouldn't let us out, despite the Hartlepool 'fans' having left the area and it being full of Rochdale fans. It was a completely stupid situation and if a few of us didn't take it into our own hands to open the gate, we would probabily be there now. In other news, 15 minutes later 5 police vans came past with blue lights on. That's around 20/25 minutes after their fans trying to get in the sandy. I didn't see a single copper anywhere whilst all the trouble was going on

Poll: Dale player. Do you use it?

There was definite Dale involvement in the scrap before the game!

The group of them shaking the bars and throwing rocks/bricks were just embarrassing, and I'm sure the real Hartlepool fans will be just as embarrassed.

This will probably have something to do with the police having to meet their own costs for policing outside grounds now...

Group of about 20 left the Ratcliffe about 2.30 singing "Rochdale's a sh1thole...". Nobody bothered to give them a reaction.

Pathetic it was.

The stuff at the Willbutts/Pearl Street end after the game was pathetic. They should have just had a dance off and be done with it. We didn't need that on today of all days. A good crowd and its ruined by a few dick heads. I am 100% sure none of them will be arrested or charged.

Where did all the stewards go? And as for the Police, pathetic! No doubt they'll earn money out of their incompetence in the future by increasing policing at games.

I think someone else alluded to the point that the police are now responsible for their own footballing budget.

I was nearby when the first scuffle happened near the ticket office before the game and the police were very conspicuous by their absence.

Usually before and after home games the ground is crawling with them!

They only get paid from us Ken for policing inside the ground since the court ruling at the back end of last season. Noticeable by their lack of numbers today..

Expect a club statement on thus about how they'll be contacting the police asking for their thoughts.

About 20 kids at most tried to push open the gate to get in to the Sandy Lane end. The one steward who was on that gate had no problem fending them off until further stewards arrived. Also saw the Hartlepool v Hartlepool 'fight' in the car park. It seemed to be a group of decent Hartlepool fans telling one idiot to stop showing the club up, so he then tried to pick a fight with them, but I didn't see any punches thrown. He looked like the type of kid who would be out cold if you landed one punch on him. It was embarrassing to watch and Just makes you realise that you still get scum at family football clubs.

There's a CCTV camera on that gate, so it's likely that Hartlepool will be getting a fine for that if the club report it to the league. That's the last thing they will need when they are bottom of the league, but these so called fans are probably not bothered as real Hartlepool fans would have stayed in the ground until the end to try and spur their team on. Any fan who leaves the ground when their team are 3-0 down is not worth their salt.

Hopefully, there will be a few banning orders on the way too.

They did something similar during Paul Simpson's reign when they were top of the division and we were beating them 4-0; after about 70 minutes a group of them ran out of the ground and tried to get in to the WMG stand. Must be something in the sea air at Hartlepool that breeds them like that.

In fairness some dogs have fleas - we have a few ourselves.

Luckily like most clubs (barring the Welsh, Leeds and Millwall) its less than 1%

Dont be too disheartened, goals change games and you created enough chances to have easily scored two or three. It was a open game but we had the end product. I think both teams could be there or there abouts on todays showing, you put in some quality crosses but failed to convert.

Good support from the majority but the knuckle draggers are just an embarrassment. We also have claims to one or two, in fact one of ours today was a fat lad wearing a winter coat buttoned up to the neck ( He was sweating like a rag pudding) ,they make you laugh !!

The "we do what we want" chant whilst they were mostly sitting on a wall doing nothing was a high point in the embarrassing hilarity of it all.

Violence will always be in Football, If we like it or not tonight, There were trouble with Palace at RSC, It happens but there is a fine line between banter and Protecting yourself. This stuff is slowly re-emerging in the game. Because the white elephant's are demanding more money for some product were the Supporters are to notice. It's the International Supporters i feel sorry for even more prices averaging around from 2,000 Euro's a match to 15,000 Euro's a Tournament.

Back to the issue i think 442Dale comment were the most sensible one on this thread. Ignore these people if you don't like them or think they are a dodgy character. But the violence will never die until the whitest of the elephant's wake up and see they are not helping the beautiful game by taking, taking, taking!

Hopefully in my lifetime, UEFA, FIFA & Other Association's wake up and charge the rules, Look at the Bale transfer to Real Madrid, It's no wonder Eire and Most of Europe are Bankrupt

Sorry about the essay
