Kieron Dyer on Goals on Sunday now on 11:54 - Jan 22 with 2198 views | DaiHo0p | NW loves him, said he's learned more about footballers as people thru talking to him than any other player. No idea what he was taking about to be honest. Did he just spend money to have a mate there?

Yeah that was by far the most bizarre thing Neil said on Thursday, did not get that at all.

Kieron Dyer on Goals on Sunday now on 14:13 - Jan 22 with 1900 views | daveB | well i think most QPR fans would have said we shoudl sell Buz and Tommy Smith a week ago as well. If Faurlin hadn't got injured I doubt Buzsaky would have played again for us no matter who the manager is. Disapointing that Dyer sees fit to discuss such sensitive matters in public

I'm surprised we haven't had a million posts on here ranting and raving on about him being a disgrace, a gobshite, a c@nt, and all the other things that Barton's been called for doing teh same thing really. I wonder why.

well he didn't do anything like Joey Barton, I think Dyer is a prat for talking about Warnock releasing players etc but it's nothing compared to what the club captain did on friday, that was a disgrace.

In your opinion I presume. TBH, I think the club have been a little naive by not putting a clause in NW's settlement preventing him from talking publicly about the sacking. Then this whole thing would never have arisen. No disgrace in Barton expressing his opinion about NW's carefully stage managed publicity stunt IMO. Players blamed, former owners blamed, current owners blamed. Perhaps NW was just unlucky to have been surounded by incompetents everywhere he looked, and perhaps he was completely blameless for everything that happened. Nothing wrong in believing that if you wish. No harm believing in Santa Claus either. Maybe I've missed it as I don't read papers anymore, but how many players have jumped to NW's defence about how unlucky he was to have been sacked? There's normally a few when that happend to any manager. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

so you think it was right for our club captain the day before a key game to spend his afternoon publickly slated a former manager. What was the point, what did he hope to achieve. He should be called into the club tomorrow morning and warned about what he can and can't say on twitter.

Well, consider this. What harm does it do the day before a key game if he's simply expressing the opinion of all his team mates? Former manager blaming people inside the club for poisoning his reputation. Did it look yesterday like his team mates were upset with him? I think the rest of the squad would be quite happy with Barton putting the record straight, can't see how it would do anything other than strengthen squad unity tbh. People getting upset are getting upset primarily because they were unable to remove rose tinted specs re NW, or because they don't like JB. Shame they can't be as straight as JB and say so.
Kieron Dyer on Goals on Sunday now on 15:50 - Jan 22 with 1703 views | daveB | perhaps listen to what Warnock said rather than reading the headline, he was talking about agents talking to fernandes rather than players and clarfied that in his column yesterday. for me a club captain or any player shouldn't be coming out and slating former managers or players, they are better off staying quiet being proffesional and getting on with their jobs, warnock didn't have a go at any of the players so i'm not sure why they had to set the record straight, Bartons rant was all about him and his ego rather than the good of QPR.

I think it's you that needs to read things a little more closely.... “I know the experience [Tony] had from certain people over the past few weeks,” hinted Warnock. “It would have been difficult to resist because people get on the phone and tweet and it’s almost like slowly poisoning somebody from outside the club and no doubt from within the club as well. “It’s a dangerous precedent if you let players talk to the chairman but, you know, you can’t stop tweeting. My chairman tweets a lot and some of my players tweet. “Players only look after themselves,” the Sun quoted Warnock, “so it’s quite easy to start rumours with this new modern media and I don’t think it helps anybody.” This accuses players of poisoning his reputation, does it not? NW let us all down with his snidey and slimy SSN piece - it was a deliberate attempt to have a dig at JB (who i have no doubt is a complete tool) and sow some further dissension in the ranks. JB did what NW thought would happen and bit. Again. As he always does. I dont like him, but he is ours and "you'll never walk alone" etc NW imo has lost a bit of the fight and has had his last stab at the big time taken away from him - bitter ex lover. As someone who still feels a little guilty for hounding Alan Mullery out the door (i seem to remember a virulent night in the paddock vs Stoke) I sent nw a good luck message, but i didnt expect him to throw it back in our faces on SSN! never seen anything like it. we got to all move on and Ave it at the Villa.
