South Africa Road seating advice 13:37 - Dec 13 with 1500 views | osbus | Hi all, First time poster, long time lurker etc. I'm a season ticket holder in Ellerslie Road but taking friends to the Preston game so looking at SAR since the safe standing is already all but sold out. Any advice on the best places to sit for view of the pitch, atmosphere, etc.?

South Africa Road seating advice on 13:45 - Dec 13 with 1445 views | SimonJames | I sat in CL (Row D) for the first time, last Saturday. It was a great view of the pitch. Although if It's raining I would probably prefer to be a couple of rows further back. [Post edited 15 Dec 1:52]

B block (to the right) is gold so cheaper and probably a better view (although tricky to see what's happening in the Loft/SAR corner. Bit more atmosphere in F & G being closer to the Loft but you have to do a weird combination of going up to go across to go down to get to some seats. The catering is pretty meh since the converted the bar into the C Club (or whatever that restaurant is) but no worse than the rest of the ground and for my money, better than Ellerslie. South Africa Road seating advice on 15:18 - Dec 13 with 1189 views | osbus | Thanks all. Going to look at F and G to start with and see what's available. I'm not much of a cheese connoisseur, but I like a good soft cheese so probably brie or camembert (pretty basic, I know)

That’s where my dad used to have his ST, used to know quite a few people that sat around him. He probably gave it up nearly 20 years ago now! Pretty good view from there.
