Rodneeeeeeee! on 08:41 - Oct 11 with 2509 views | dmm | He's to blame for me being an R. I've never known whether to thank him or call him a barsteward.
Rodneeeeeeee! on 08:49 - Oct 11 with 2493 views | thehat | According to my late Dad he was the best player to ever wear the hoops. Unfortunately I was too young to see him live but Dad always said he was ahead of Bowles which in itself is no mean feat. If I could go back in time the second half of the Wembley '67 League Cup final would be a good place to be.....

He was the best. Was at the ground the day he signed and got his autograph. Lovely fella, great player, 1966 on great time to be a QPR fan

Rodneeeeeeee! on 12:49 - Oct 11 with 2191 views | Marshy67 | Hard to believe the great man is 80. No Rodney no Stanley No Rodney no League Cup triumph. Carlisle would have beaten us 1-0 in the 5th Round. it's no exaggeration to say that it was because of Rod that we went on to have the success that we had in the following years. Yes Jim Gregory put his hand in his pocket but that was only after Rod had been weaving his magic. Rod was much more than "that hat-trick against Birmingham". Those of us with long memories can remember seeing Rod score goals like that nearly every week. And who can forget the Rodneeee chant that went around the ground. Especially on a dark cold winters afternoon. My-and many other's-all time favourite Ranger. But you had to have lived in those times to truly appreciate the brilliance of the great Rodney Marsh. Happy Birthday Rod.

The first QPR maverick no 10. I don't think he was better than Bowles, though. Stan performed at a higher level and had a better all round game.

Rodneeeeeeee! on 19:19 - Oct 13 with 1399 views | dixiedean | I was privileged to see him in his pomp- he was instrumental in putting Rangers on the map and as a 13 year old I was devastated when we sold him to Man City. Thankfully in those days we had a clue about recruitment and in came Stan for just over half what we received for Rod , Don Givens for £40 grand etc etc . Rod was my first hero, and everyone else’s of that age.
Rodneeeeeeee! on 21:04 - Oct 13 with 1261 views | Malintabuk | Still believe if Rod had started that 68 season in the 1st division we would have made a better fist of it. Even when he came back he looked half fit... and even by then we were a demoralised team. He was great and frustrating at the same time.... would beat his man and be ready to score, but he felt it was too easy so had to beat someone else.... before scoring... you always felt he would come a cropper..... We even named one of our pet cats.... Rodnee such was the man. My first ever man love.... Stan was unbelievable... Rod was just Rod.
