I think it's the 2 or 3 rows right at the back of lower tier, due to the overhang of the stand above

I think the tickets we are selling are for the new top tier, hence the range of prices, think the more expensive ones are nearer the front

Ok, l didn't know that, surely there shouldn't be any restricted up there. Should there?

West Ham had 6000 lower tier recently for LC

There is a train out of Liverpool about half eleven BUT the catch is there is one change at Crewe with a four hour + wait between trains!! So no is the answer...

There are 2 different 23.45 National Express coach departures from the Liverpool One coach station to London Victoria, one arrivrs at 06.00 , the other at 06.25, neither are cheap and certainly not Megabus prices!

I remember going to midweek evening games in Liverpool and Manchester and coming back to London on the overnight sleeper, sadly those days are long gone...

Poll: How will we get on against Leicester City?

You would think spending zillions on re-constructing the stand would mean no restricted view seats…..

Poll: Would you take Ward-Prowse back?

Do we have the whole of the upper tier then, or is it part of the upper tier and part of the lower tier?

Have to say, was hoping not to be in the upper tier.

I bloody hate how Prem clubs like to put away fans as far away from the pitch as possible, or give them the worst view on the side with the worst atmosphere.

Won’t know for certain until tickets go on sale, but as you say could be mixture of top and lower tiers like Man City

To be fair putting them in a place with decent atmosphere in Liverpool would mean they'd be in Goodison Park not Anfield so that's not going to happen.

It’s a shocking away end at Everton though, mush.

Up there with Wolves and Newcastle as the very worst in the country.

I quite like the atmosphere at Everton, they're not into sh*t songs and instead are moody bast*rds, plus they take the piss out of our more noddy elements when we go there which is no bad thing.

Liverpool on the other hand... the most noise they make is the sound of the photos being taken on ipads and their phones

Just had a look on the ticket site.

Looks like it’s seats to the side / corner that are available.

Can’t tell whether it’s upper or lower tier though…..

Would also say we'll be in the Lower Tier.

Anfield Road, BLocks AL3, 4 and 5, so I'm guessing the L is for Lower.
Plus the seat map suggests we are close to the pitch, as opposed to the edge of an upper tier.

Impressive in 2 hours, thought we'd struggle to sell half the allocation tbh for a Wed night.

Went to the LC semi a few years back, think we sold around 3000 that night, would that be about right?

think it was less to be fair, we only took half the allocation we could've that night and didn't sell it out.

Ironically i think it was one of the best Saints away ends i've been in in years, even before the carnage when Long scored.

I thought we had about 4,000 up there that night, maybe I was mistaken….

I’m so moody I didn’t even celebrate Everton’s 94th minute equalizer against Spurs the other day, captured on MOTD. That’s what VAR does to you.

If we can sell any where near 3000 for this then I’d say that’s a fantastic effort.

On national Tv at a ground we’ve played at many times over the years . We’d normally be lucky to get 1800 there on a sat in the league .

Never been a ground we’ve taken many too previously. ( same for Everton )

Strange as plenty of times we’ve taken 3000 to old Trafford .

I think we might sell the 5,500 allocation, or get close to it.
