Royals in hospital 21:24 - Jan 17 with 3152 views | Joesus_Of_Narbereth | No waiting lists for them. King sausage fingers has got an enlarged prostate and princess Kate has an unspecified abdominal condition that is described as serious and required surgery. No doubt there’ll be many on here delighted by the news.

Royals in hospital on 21:33 - Jan 17 with 2490 views | Kilkennyjack | Not at all. I hope they both recover quickly. Mind you, I have no idea how the country will manage without them both. I respect your ‘King sausage fingers’ line, very well played.

Royals in hospital on 13:19 - Jan 18 with 2281 views | onehunglow | It’s common enough in ageing folk. Mine is enlarged though not a big issue right now I don’t like jokes made about health about anyone Karma is always around that corner Importantly, enlarged prostrate can be envisaged as a cancer but the two are quite different. Prostrate cancer is no joking matter As for Charlie, he’s going to modernise the Monarchy Innit

Most people wish that everyone who has to go to hospital is okay. Clearly you don't. Just as well you don't rely on the Welsh NHS.

As if praying will make any difference. If you believe in god then you also believe that everything is in his plan, moving in mysterious ways and all that. So it’s his choice to make them ill in the first place. Praying for him to do the opposite of what he has planned is quite obviously the work of the devil or even a witch and they should be burned at the stake immediately.

Royals in hospital on 05:29 - Jan 30 with 1890 views | Kilkennyjack | Twitter saying that photos of Charlo and his side chick in papers leaving hospital, but no pictures of that Katie entering or leaving despite the worlds press camped outside. No visits from that William to see his wife. Foreign press reporting all sorts…. Any of our yoons in the know ? To be clear - i hope she gets whatever help she appears to need.

I like the fact that apparently the King's prostrate problems triggered loads of searches on the NHS website for "enlarged prostrate". It probably also triggered millions of men trying to contact their GP's surgerys by calling hundreds of times every morning for a week or so only to miss out on appointments and wait ages for anything to be taken forward after that. I don't wish ill on anyone but they should both get in the queue.

It's prostate btw. It's good to raise awareness, but getting tests and seeing a GP is another matter

Went on ask my Gp a month ago, had a phone call from a GP the same morning, went to see him in Penclawdd surgery that afternoon. Had the finger examination, rather uncomfortable as he had big hands. He took a water sample which was fine. Was given blood test forms, booked an appointment at Morriston for 3 days later, received the results a week later, which were good. No complaints from me.

That's good to hear. But in that same timeframe the King had had surgery, a different cancer detected and begun treatment. I wish him well but he should not be able to jump the queue.
