I’m a bloody idiot was just about to leave the house for the match checked on here for team news and just found out it’s not a 3pm kick off.

Oh well.

Serves your right for not paying attention and instead concentrating on watching Debbie Does Dallas

That's both posts, Patino's miss and Bolasie should have done better.

If we have had any standouts today he's been one of them along with Tymon and Harry.

Its like Rorke's Drift in the Saints area the last 10 mins or so!

It's been much better second half but why couldn't we start like this? Why did we give them so much space and time?

We knew exactly what to expect and we let them play. We should have been straight into them, given them no quarter.

Its a funny old game.....we could have even won that if we were lucky clinical enough.

still work to do, and we never gave/caved in TF.

Well maybe, but Soton should have been out of sight first half. But get your point.

They are well above us but wouod need massive new quality players to survive the Prem.
We put them under pressure and should have had a couple of goals.

I’ve a hunch that given the players either ready made or with the potential to be coached that Williams will do a very good job here.

Needs to play a back 4 more often though I think. He admitted that 5 at the back meant we lost a presence elsewhere. That changed second half.

We need to play to his strengths, I am yet to see any. If he had courage he would have scored today, ignore the post just commit 100% and it was a goal.

I don’t think it was lack of courage, more a lack of judgment. It happened so quickly he thought he could tap it in. A bit more composure and he would have done I reckon. It just wasn’t our day today when we isolate our chances. Over 90 mins we deserved nothing.
