Torrential rain overnight. Hope the drainage system is OK. For some inexplicable reason I feel optimistic. Usually a good game when we play Tractor Boys. I fancy a narrow win.

Single goal victory after Luongo tries one too many back passes to a defender as he’s dispossessed by Richards, sprinting away, past three defenders, burying his shot top corner from an acute angle, Van Basten style.
Mass crumples in a heap, beating the ground as we all sing, or at least I do, ‘he’s one of our own..’

Thank you steve, I knew you wouldn't let us down!

Suddenly realised JCS has the same initials as Jesus Christ Superstar. He'll come on near the end for his cameo, shrug off 5 biting tackles and hit the winner from just outside the box.

Full disclosure (for the benefit of those that are sensitive about duplicate posts on separate threads), my view as posted on the opposition thread:
Ipswich will come with a game-plan to nullify our strengths and expose our weaknesses, and tweak things during the game, if necessary, whilst we’ll huff and puff and make like-for-like substitutions that make us worse. The only way I can see us getting anything out of this game is if Willock has had an epiphany and pulls a worldy or three out of the hat.

Also JCS is an abbreviation for Just Chair Scoring
I’ll take that - 1-0 Rangers!

Doesn't every side have a game plan to do just that?

Got the same optimistic gut feeling. A narrow win if we can put out a team as good or nearly as good as at Cardiff.

I've attended the first home fixture every year for well over 16 years apart from the COVID times......... feels a bit odd to no longer observing that ritual.
Do I miss it? Course... not as much as I thought I would though. Life. Priorities. Cumulative wearing down..... blah, blah, bleeding blah.
Hopefully I'll get to see some of the game.
Come on Rangers - gimme a 2-0 win so I can stick it up the useless ITFC fan I sacked earlier this year and who continues to cost me money with the issues he left behind. Armstrong and Collie (who will come on last 30 mins and fetch n herd like a good 'un)
U R's!
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
