We've got a good team but we just lack that cutting edge sometimes when we really need it. It worries me when Anderson finally calls it a day, he really has been more than just a talisman for us over the last decade and more...

Blofield was on commentary to a Lashings game I was invited to, I found him really cringeworthy due to the questionable stuff he would say to or about some of the women attending. Everyone was saved any further embarrassment when the organisers appeared to ask him to hand the mic over to somebody else, it appeared he had had one too many sherrys over lunch.
Some people love him but personally I feel like he gives cricket a bit of a snooty feel it really doesnt need in this day and age. Different strokes for different folks I suppose | | | |
